I use this on my single speed that is used extensively for all sorts of conditions, wet and dry, with many obstacles from gravel and grit to glass and construction debris. I haven't had a flat yet, over several hundred miles. The roll resistance is superb and allows for all out sprints or long down hill descents without worry.

Have been using 32c Gatorskins for years on our tandem, both on fast club rides and 1,000 mile cycle tours with panniers. Running the rear at 105 to 110 psi, they hold up very well with few cuts, no blow outs, and tight bead even though we often ride stretches of dirt roads and canal paths. Had previously used Compass Cypres 32c tires but found their Kevlar beads stretched dangerously. Would love to have the Gatorskin in a 35c.

Good all around choice for winter, bad roads, etc. Nothing's bullet-proof, but these are pretty close, and they wear well. If you need even better flat protection, the 'hardshell' version seems a bit better.

great tires no flats

This was my second time purchasing Gatorskins. I do a lot of road biking for long distances, and my first pair lasted me two years (including two 7-day rides from San Francisco to Los Angeles) and thousands of miles. They finally got worn down and needed to be replaced. I only had one flat tire in that time and it wasn't due to a puncture. I recommend these tires to my teammates all the time, and highly recommend them to anyone who's doing a lot of riding and doesn't want to deal with changing flats all the time.

I am a tire freak. I have thought about, tested, and ridden so many tires-I don't even want to think about all the money I have spent. No matter what cool new tire I try, I always come back to the Gatorskins. They're not the fastest or the lightest, but if your looking for a great all around riding tire for regular riding and training, Gatorskins are by far the best bet.

Great tires that last a long time and resist puncturing. I have been riding these and 4000 SII tires for a few years now and I love them both. This tends to be my go to winter tire. Have put over 2500 miles and they still have life.

I've ridden these before. Nice ride. I commute on paved trails and city streets about 40 miles round trip. No flats, even in early spring with lots of debris on the roads. A bit tough to get on, but worth the work.

Love these tires. I hate flats so so love the puncture protection. They are not 100% puncture proof, but much better than lighter Race tires.

I purchased 25mm and experienced decent ride, higher PSI and puncture resistant. Holds up even on gravel. Wear indicators are good reminder when replacements are due.

I run these on my commuter bike, they give me the confidence I won't be getting a flat for a long time.

Don't like stopping for flats.

Love the protection from flats. I replace them every 2 years, with still wear left.
No complaints with handling or feel.

California roads are so bad that there is glass and fine wires from worn out steel belted car tires that are wearing out and dropping these wires all over the place. While Gatorskins are normally very flat proof, those steel wires will go right through them. This is all due to Biden's inflation making normal food so expensive that people are putting off buying new tires, The same thing happened in Obama's Great Recession.

On asphalt trail road biking. Excellent puncture protection and sidewall protection. Gators are a little difficult to install first time but tires stretch and flex making future mounting easier.
