Almost flat proof. Best tires Ive owned.

I have used these tires for the last couple of years with good results. Until now. My last set had about 2k miles on them and were starting to show wear so I changed them. Got a flat the next week, I don't know what I hit but it put a gash at the top of the sidewall. So I changed that tire after a week. Two weeks after I changed tires, I got another puncture, this one right through the center of the tire. I am no longer using this tire.

Good everyday tire, lucky to have never had a flat with these!

Have started using gator skins about 7 years ago and never looked back. Since using them on San Francisco and Bay Area roads they have weathered the street debris and other road issues better than most other tires. It's important to use good inner tubes because the cheep inner tubes fail long before the tires need to be replaced. Buy again? You bet!

I am not a pro, but these tires seem to be very resilient and great riding tires. They are somewhat difficult for an amateur to install, but he many videos on the subject will allow you to finish. They are much quieter than my previous OEM tires.

Gatorskins are heavy duty and near-bullet proof. A bit on the heavy side, but if you want a good training tire that will last till the Second Coming, this is the tire! Good product at a good price. Western Bike Works was the best in ordering and shipping.... I was amazed how fast I got the shipment.

Use in weekly group rides in the Orlando area. The tires last many miles and are easy on the pocketbook. They are hard to put on a wheel.

No flats since I bought these. Air does not leak out of the tubes even over long periods of time.

Riding on the roads. The tire is reliable and durable. Because I ride on the many rough roads in Northeast Ohio, I find Gatorskins are a necessity. No problems (or flats) while riding on these tires. I highly recommend them.

I have ridden them on some rough and bumpy roads in Ontario, Canada and after 2000 km they still look just fine. Just purchased another set for my road bike in Florida.

Not the lightest tire around, but the wear and thorn resistant build makes up for any extra weight. I prefer the 25mm folding Gatorskin.

I just bought a new gravel bike, but wanted a little bigger tire. Recognizing that I still ride road maybe 70% of the time, I was convinced to try gators for gravel. I bought a set of 32mm's. After trying several different pressures, I have settled on 60psi front and 65 psi rear (I weigh 160). the tires work surprisingly well on gravel and wet dirt, despite having no tread. Surprisingly, the large tire actually rolls better than my road bike 25's at the same pressure, so even very low pressure like 60psi does not come with a significant penalty on the road. These are fine tires for moderate gravel riding (6-8 mile stretches) in between otherwise tarmac rides.

I used these on my road bike for my group rides. I don't like to spend time on the side of the road changing my tube, I rather be riding. They hold up well for the bad roads in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I can get a couple thousand miles on them. I had to replace the last one due to a big nail going through the tire, but was able to continue the ride due to a dollar bill patch until I could get back to the bike shop and get a new one. They hold up Great.

Very good value for these tires, I've used these Gatorskins for the past 6 or 7 years. Almost puncture proof and well worth the extra weight and stiffness.
