Vittoria Air-Liner Tubeless MTB Tire Insert

This Victoria Airliner is one of the best things I've ever bought for my bike. I'm using the inserts since August 2022. I admit, it was a little chore to install it. But once I had it all together, and put the sealant in it was all smooth sailing after that. I still ride 200 miles a week and since I put the inserts in, I didn't get a puncture. I lowered the tire pressure by 5 pounds per wheel. I was afraid that the performance of the bike will decline. But I was wrong. The ride is now nice and smooth. I am an older rider. That's why I'm looking for a comfortable ride. I would recommend this Victoria Airliner to everybody, especially to older riders.

Used on my wife's Specialized Turbo Levo SL. She also has them on her Ibis Ripley so my comments cover both bikes but the same tire insert. Definitely easier to install then the Cush Cores on my Ibis Ripmo. Neither of us have had any issues at all on the 3 bikes, no pinch flat, cornering seems improved but that could also be a figment of my imagination since I didn't run them back-to-back with no insert. The area I can confidently say is an improvement is traction with the lower PSI we run. That is true with both the Cush Core and the Vittoria, but the CC's cost more.

Super easy to install, and gives excellent rim protection! Riding primarily single track on my XC bike, with some huge roots and the occasional rock. I had a few pretty good dings on roots which led me down the path of a tire liner. Primary goal was rim protection, however the "bead lock" and run flat are nice bonuses. I was already familiar with the Air-Liner gravel version as I've ran those for the past couple seasons on my gravel bike thanks to a recommendation from the mechanic at my LBS. Decided to pick up these and have been great so far. Running much more comfortable pressures without fear of hurting a rim, and might just be placebo but I swear it feels smoother with less vibration as well. Thankfully haven't tested the run flat capabilities so far on the MTB liners, however they've saved me a few times on the Gravel bike.

I've had Cush Cores for a couple years on one of my bikes. Installed a Air-Liner on the front of both bikes and left the Cush Cores in the rears. I don't notice the difference really between the two brands other than the Liners cost less. Each brand takes about the same time to install. Certainly takes the chatter out of the roots here in GA.

These are great. Yes, they made installing the tires harder, but doable and worth the effort. Plus they're super light. I installed with Terravail Ehline tires and when complete, they were 3 oz lighter than my Maxxis Minions installed without any foam cores. And as a bonus they're removable and can be used again. I was able to remove the tires and air-liners without any damage to either.
