Description

Take the inside line and push your limit to the max with the WTB Raddler SG2

The Raddler tire from WTB, speaks for itself and is the amped-up, radder version of the famed Riddler tread pattern. A short-knob centerline with chunky outer knobs increases speed and confidence when barreling down gravel roads.

The tightly spaced and consistent central tread pattern reduces the rolling resistance while still being able to dig into any terrain. Improving your traction out of the saddle has never been easier.

The side knobs allow you to keep speed in the corners, fully committed to the lean. The long, toothy side knobs are consistently digging for action, ensuring you have ultimate control through all corners of your favorite gravel descent.

Loose terrain? No problem—this is where the Raddler's traction capabilities shine with efficiency. Whether the conditions are wet, dry, compact dirt or loose gravel—the WTB Raddler will allow you to take the inside line and even brake late without losing it all.

Take your tires to the next level with SG2

This version of the Raddler features WTB's all-new SG2 puncture protection. This new protection layer is a lightweight, ultra-thin nylon insert that provides bead-to-bead coverage to ensure all surfaces of the tire are provided with an additional level of defense against punctures.

Exactly how much more durable are they? Lab tests show the addition of the bead-to-bead SG2 puncture protection layer to a 120tpi casing provides 33% more sidewall protection and 17% more tread protection than the standard 60tpi offerings without SG2.

While SG2 is primarily a puncture protection layer, its tightly woven fibers also improve air retention, which prevents seeping at the sidewall and helps maintain pressure between rides.

Features:

  • SG2 casing will keep the air inside when the terrain gets rough
  • 120tpi for a super supple feel at lower pressures and maximum grip
  • Tubeless compatible with WTB's TCS system
  • 522g (40mm)

Since my friends and I bought gravel bikes, we have been taking them on the Marin County mountain bike trails in Northern California. If you know the terrain, you know it is steep, dry and loose. These tires have not let me down at all. I can climb as well as on my mtb bike, and although descending requires less bombing and more thoughtful lines, these tires hold their line very well. Looking forward to riding them in the Belgian Waffle Ride in San Diego next month.
