Vittoria Martello G2.0 29 Inch MTB Tire

The Vittoria Martello G2.0 29 Inch MTB Tire hammers home the performance you expect, on the most demanding Enduro and DH courses. Looking for the one tire to tackle a wide range of courses? This is the ticket. How does the Martello deliver this level of performance? Start with a World Championship proven TNT bead, add the proprietary 4C Graphene compound, and top it off with a moto-inspired tread design with progressive width siping. This last part is key, and provides for a progressive feel on the effective edge, allowing for that fine-touch tactile feel that top racers expect.

Whether shredding rocks, roots, or mixed terrain, Martello delivers!

  • 4 compounds in the tread (4C) for increased wear life and fast rolling.
  • Functionalized GRAPHENE 2.0 compound delivers ultimate wet grip.
  • Moto-block square knobs offer stability and durability.
  • Progressive sipe-width pattern provides tactile grip at the knob surface without compromising on speed or grip.
  • Versatile all-conditions tire.

    Outstanding tire

I have been riding the Martello as a rear tire for over a year now in rough New Mexico trail single track conditions. No flats or punctures despite riding 4-5 times per week in cactus, goathead, and big sharp stone territory. Tough robust casing that is not heavy and actually on the light side, and excellent grip and handling in loose and firm conditions. Unusually, these tires need to be broken in (4-10 rides) before they lose their bounciness and slight slipperiness. After that it's all good. Highly recommend these tires over other brands (I've tried just about all of them).

Tire hooks up extremely well in loose over hard packed like we have in Nor Cal.

This is my first Vittoria tire and it performs as advertised. I am very happy with how it hooks up under loose conditions. It brakes well and corners well under dry conditions.
