Training and Gran Fondos. This tire is easy to mount and remove if changing a tube is needed. Looks fast and rides fast.

Why go big?

I put 25mm Veloflex Corsas on an older IF Crown Jewel with rim brakes. I might be able to run 28s, but 25s fit perfectly and are a sure bet to always fit. I run the tires with latex tubes. While I know there is a current shift towards bigger tubeless tires, I honestly cannot say that I find the larger tires to be significantly more comfortable than the Veloflex 25s. And yes, I have bikes with bigger tires. I live in an urban area where the roads are actually pretty good and the bike lanes even get swept occasionally so there are less road hazards. Bigger tires definitely win when it comes to road hazards. There is no tread per se, the tire is more of a textured rubber. Fast? Check. Grippy? Check. Flats? None. Mounts easy? Check. And I cant think of enough superlatives to describe how good these are descending. Two thumbs up!

Awesome Tires!

These are fantastic tires. I've ridden Conti GP for many years (despite the painful mounting challenges). I've used Vittoria Corsas for outdoor winter training rides. But once spring arrived, I mounted the Veloflex Corsa EVOs over lightweight butyl tubes and took them out for a few rides out on the backcountry chip-and-seal, rugged pavement roads. I hit a few slick spots on a nearby trail but did not test the limits of wet traction (I don't ride in the rain anymore!).

These mount easily, provide solid, consistent traction throughout a turn, and feel smooth and fast with lightweight butyl and TPU tubes.

Wear rates will likely by similar to the other higher-end race tires (2 rears replaced for each front), but I enjoy the feeling of speed and control far too much to worry about wear rates.

Overall, these are my favorite spring-through--fall tires!

I am surprised that there are not more bicyclists riding on Veloflex clinchers, since they are the best in the market: super grippy, lightweight, good puncture resistance, never had a sidewall failure (unlike Contis), and - best of all - they are so easy to put on and take off the rim that I never need tire irons for a roadside repair.

One of the best riding clinchers out there

I've been use Corsas for years. The have a better ride than any other clincher I've used, especially with a latex tube. They are grippy and do well quickly. Puncture protection is acceptable when new but be careful as they get thinner. To me - it's a worthy trade off for the ride quality.

I've been riding Veloflex for around 15 years, these are the best rolling of the lot.

First time with their 25mm tire and this smooth tread pattern...

These tire roll VERY well, they're my new favorite.

One of the most supple and sticky tires I've ridden. Feels like a tubular. When compared to other tubeless racing clinchers of the same quality, these win hands down and are $20-30 less per tire. Due to the thin casing they wear a little faster and do have some seepage of sealant but nothing serious. No flats after nearly 1000 miles of riding. Handmade quality at a good price- can't be beat.
