Western is fantastic, and got to have them slap it on, whilst I savored an IPA. That may not be the case in the future, in store and a beer, but the selection and prices are unparalleled.

Great cassette and easy to install. I need this one for hill climbing since I'm 65 years young. Paid almost [$] bucks for this one and saw it on sale for [$] a week later on a different web site. I'm ok with that.

I ride a triple, so I'm already that guy. My 12-27 wore out and I had to replace it, and Shimano doesn't offer that combination anymore, so I tried the new 12-30 wide cassette instead. It is truly like cheating to climb with. I hardly ever hit the low end of this range but it's really nice to know that, instead of one more sag gear there's like two or three of them, and if 30-30 isn't enough, just walk.
The downside is that the spacing between each cog is large enough that it's often hard to find just the right gear combination for a long slog into the wind. I still miss the 12-27, it was the perfect cassette. But the 12-30 lets me climb like i was 20 years younger, or at least fake it.

I'm 55 and I ride a lot - a lot of roads, a lot of miles, and an lot of hills. Riding 100 miles a week and 12-15 centuries a year, I need a lot of versatility - gearing for the long, flat straights and gearing for the long, slow climbs! This is my go to cassette! Paired with a standard 53-39 crank, it'll climb anything and still give me 45 mph downhills. Only cassette you'll need!

Had a 105 12x27 and needed to replace so tried an upgrade to Ultegra and love the 28, as you can cruise more in the big ring when needed (like when you just don't quite want to shift to the 34T (compact) as you top over a roller hill.
Works very well with my sram red compact and shifters.
Save your knees and spin!

Not actually that much heavier than Dura Ace. A bargain in comparison considering the level of precision.

You can't beat the $$-weight-dependability value of the Shimano Ultegra CS-6700 10-Speed cassette. Rain, mud, sand, crud - you name it and the cassette always puts in a solid effort. The shifting is fast and precise and it allows one to cover all moves and situations with confidence.

I ordered this cassette to install on a wheel I also ordered. It went on easily and now have over 500 miles on it. Great product at a great price!

I have been using the Ultegra cassettes for years. You can spend much more on a cassette but you won't get a better one. These work as well as anything and just last and last and last. Dura-Ace might save a gram or two and work the same, but it won't give you the long service life the Ultegra does. If you want a cassette that you can install and more or less forget about all while enjoying beautiful shifts day in and day out - this is it.

I needed to replace my 10-speed Dura-ace cassette because of worn cogs and was originally looking for a Dura-ace 10-speed cassette. Not only were they difficult to find, but the few I found were extremely expensive! I "settled" for this Ultegra cassette and I am very glad I did. Not only is it waaay less expensive, but the shifting is just as clean and crisp as my Dura-ace cassette. Even though I know there is a weight difference, I really can't feel it in any way. I have it paired with a SRAM hollow-pin chain and the combination works extremely well. I would definitely recommend this cassette.

I was struggling with hills using the 28 tooth cassette I had so I moved up to the 30 which gave me what I needed. Nothing shimano has ever let me down

Great to be able to still get this for my old 10 speed drivetrain on my "bad weather bike" fast turnaround as usual. Glad Portland and Seattle are close!

Shimano parts, especially Ultegra, are a bargin when you factor in the quality in all aspects and the durability when maintianed.
