This is a great tire. I replaced the Schwalbe Kojak tires with a set of the Marathon Plus and glad I did. Overall riding performance and cornering are better. I highly recommend this tire for all touring and commuting. It is a five star tire!

As wet weather moved in I replaced my slicks with these and am very happy. I have much better traction and control.

I have bought these tires for the last 7 years. My wife commutes to work 5 times a week and she is not the best at switching flats. specially in the cold weather out here in colorado. she bike all four seasons and these tires have get her from having to change many flats. I like there reflective outer wall as well as there beefy construction. They do and amazing job at keeping glass from entering the tube. The only times she has had to change tubes is when there has been a staple of nail pushing through all the barrier. The tread of the tires is really good on rain as well as light snow. The only negative thing i can say is that they can be a little tricky to take of the rim and sometimes put back on, but once they are broken in they are simple. These tires will definitely give you lots of miles, my wife has put over 3000 miles on them before i have had to retired them and she rides in crappy city streets and well as green belts. I am very happy with their performance!!

A must for touring. I won't tour with anything else.

Works well, solid commuter. No flats yet with about 3 months of use. I have 32mm & they worked well on gravel. Good all around tire.

Over all best tires I have purchased, only bad thing is the reflective sidewall fades even with the cleaners I have used.

Use on my road bike. I ride 3000 miles/yr and the only flat tire I have had is running over a screw that went completely through the tire.

This tire is not so nubby it slows me down but is armored enough to withstand punctures from our infamous goatheads. I look forward to trying it off-road on our upcoming GAPC&O trip in May.

Daily ride for 20-30 miles on the shoulder of a Highway. So far no flats.

I have over 5000 miles on these tires and 0 (ZERO) flat tires. Last summer I rode my bike across the USA on the Trans Am route and did not have any flat tires! That was 4600 miles across America. I love these tires and highly recommend them.

Smooth rolling, long lasting, puncture resistant. Hard to install though. Best to use a bead leaver.

This is my second time buying this tire (only had to buy a new one because my wheel was stolen). Road on them daily for a year and never had a flat!

Tire has performed awesome 600 miles and not one flat rode everything from pavement to bike trail in S Dakota very happy once you get past the weight of the tire the rest is good

This tire rides harder than previous Cont. Gatorskins and was tough to mount because of the very stiff side walls. I dread the possibility of trying to change a flat on the road but maybe the tire will be softer with use. But no flats should occur, right?

Replaced my Conti Road & Country tires with these and so far they've performed as advertised. I Like the reflective sidewall feature as well. Cornering is adequate and grip in wet weather is ok. My trips on them are fairly flat, straight routes, but full of cracked concreteasphalt roads and plenty of debris and sprinkles of glass, screws, nails. No problem- nevertheless I've paired them with Slime tubes just in case. Good product. Excellent price.

My wife and I bicycle about 3500 miles a year. We had tried other so-called puncture resistant kevlar tires, but they were a disappointment. We would still get a flat tire every month or so or even sooner. I got tired of fixing flats on the road. So, I bit the bullet and shelled out more money for a bicycle tire than I normally would for a car tire! The Schwalbe Marathon Plus is the best. It has that 5 mm extra strip under the tire's surface that helps prevent long punctures. (I once pulled out a 6 mm long thorn! It had not reached the tube.) The Marathon Plus, when brand new, seems to repel pointed rocks and glass shards. It must be the rubber compound. After a thousand miles or so, the rubber compound starts to break down and the tire is more susceptible to cuts and abrasions, but still offers great puncture resistance. After 5,000 miles or so, my wife's front tire started to get tiny nicks through the casement that would nick the tube. My solution? I bought a Mr. Tuffy Lite liner and put it under the tire on top of a Schwalbe tube. No more flats so far. My wife's front tire has over 10,000 miles on it. Sure, it has lots of nicks and cuts, but it still has more tread on it than my less-mileage rear Schwalbe Marathon Plus. (I carry more weight and pull a dog trailer with dog.) If you want to spend more time riding and less time on the side of the road, I highly recommend these tires. And, oh, I do inspect the tires once a week to pull out pointed debris.
