Review by Mike RyceAwesome Tractionby Mike RyceHamilton, Ontario, Canada5 of 5 customers found this review helpful.Just got these and put them on my electric assist before our first winter storm. Rode 14 km home at 35 kph on mixed terrain and around 5-10 cm of snow. These performed perfectly through the snow, some ice and dry and wet pavement. Way better than the Ice Spiker from Schwalbe I had for the past 2 winters. Great traction accelerating and braking, amazing on corners.

Review by Marshdog94Quite good for the purposeby Marshdog94Cycling EnthusiastRochester, NY5 of 5 customers found this review helpful. This is my first studded bike tire. I purchased it because I had ridden a couple of times in the early winter on the original mountain bike tire that came on my hard tail and experienced a couple of near slide-outs with my front tire. I decided that it would be an necessary upgrade to invest in a studded tire for my front, to avoid any such slide-out when on sidewalk or anywhere near vehicle traffic. I believe that anyone who rides on sidewalk/pavement in an area that experiences snow/ice should invest in a studded tire. I have found that having the studded tire gives me a boost in confidence when riding through that uncertain conditions of winter. I plan to purchase a second tire, for the rear, in the coming weeks.

Review by LetzJust the ticketby LetzCycling EnthusiastAK2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. If you have a set of 650b wheels this is a combo that almost gets you into semi-fat-bike width for winter riding, very aggresive tread and studding, plush ride, no problems fitting the 2.1 width into my gbike fork and stays. Wish they were cheaper but pay-to-play.
