Zipp 302 Carbon Disc Brake V1 Wheelset
The Zipp 302 Carbon Disc Brake V1 Wheelset takes the ride quality and wind-cheating speed that the Zipp 302 V1 provides, and adds in disc brake compatibility. The 302 wheelset presents Zipp-level quality and performance at a price that is more attainable than ever. Featuring a 45mm deep Indianapolis-made smooth carbon fiber rim optimized for low drag and precise handling in all conditions, these versatile wheels are equally suited to burning up steep gravel climbs or putting hard efforts in chasing down the break away.
Like all of Zipp's carbon clincher rims, the 302's are handcrafted in their Indianapolis factory, providing Zipp complete control over their manufacturing process from start to finish. For the most weight reduction and ease-of-use possible, Zipp's 76D/176D hubset features a Centerlock compatible disc brake rotor interface. Replaceable axle end caps make this hubset versatile with both quick-release and thru-axle setups. Laced with cyclocross-tested 24 Sapim CX Sprint spokes front and rear, this wheelset is fast enough to end up on the podium of a local crit, and strong enough for seasons of muddy cyclocross racing.
The Zipp 302 Carbon Disc Brake V1 Wheelset includes Zipp valve extenders and Zipp rim tape.
302 smooth carbon fiber rims are optimized for low aerodynamic drag and predictable handling.
Replaceable axle end caps for thru-axle compatibility.

Could not be happier with these incredible wheels
This is my first set of good carbon wheels. I am running them tubeless with 28c Continental GP 5000 TL tires. I slapped an Ultegra cassette and rotors on with the intention of running them about 50% of the time on my Santa Cruz Stigmata. The other 50% was planned to be run with the stock aluminum DT Swiss rims with beefier 40c tires for some gnarlier riding. Well, I now plan to run these Zipps more like 10 months out of the year, and maybe swap in the other wheelset when the weather really gets sloppy in JanFeb here in the mid-Atlantic. These are far from the top of the line offerings from Zipp, but I think it is an incredible value for a set of buttery smooth and reasonably light wheels. I only have a few 15 - 30 mile rides on them so far, but I plan on putting them to the test in a century this fall, and if I can squeeze a triathlon in before end of season I will really see how fast they are. So far, they are punchy and quick and seem to float up the many 10-12% grades in my area. Thank you Zipp for developing such a beautiful set of wheels at a great price point, and thank you WBW for the speedy (and free) delivery and incredible customer service.
