Description Time's ATAC Performance in a Flat Urban-Focused Commuter Pedal
The Time Link Pedal is Time's urban-focused commuter pedal. It features a flat platform that's perfect for almost any occasion, giving you the freedom to bike and walk comfortably in any non-cycling shoe. On the other hand, Time has integrated the ATAC system that you can link into with your cycling shoe, giving you extra pedaling efficiency when you're on longer or faster rides.
ATAC technology was developed by Time's engineers to make it easier to get on and off MTB pedals. Entry is achieved by 2 movements: one downwards at an angle and the second downwards. Touring and recreational cyclists will be familiar with these pedals and racers looking for performance will be ahead of the game when it comes to quick entry.

really solid pedal for first time clipless users

Cycling Enthusiast
This was for a first time clipless pedal user. She does a lot of commuting and casual riding. Engagement was intuitive, retention was good and release was positive. The platform is a good size for practical use and non cleat use. Quality pedal.
