Solid footing for shredding.

Spank Industries' Spike Flat Pedal lets you hit the trail with confidence underfoot. The 12 mm thin cold-forged alloy platform features chamfered edges for improved clearance and reduced impact forces, while 20 adjustable full sized hex pins provide all the stickiness you could want from a platform pedal. To save weight, the hollow tapered steel axle is enriched with scandium and is supported with an inboard oversize cartridge bearing and outboard IGUS bushing for long lasting smoothness and durability. For those more into slopestyle or dirt jumping, there is also a inboard friction seal to prevent pedal spin during flip whips and the like.

Available in multiple colors. Claimed weight is 420 g per pair including pins.

Review for Spank Industries 2014 Spike Flat Pedal
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.

I wanted to switch over to platforms on my trail bike and these seemed like a tried and true favorite of many riders. The quality and finish are excellent and the durability seems good so far. I put in most of the traction screws and the grip is good while still being about to adjust your footing a bit. I'm sure there are many good pedals our there, but these seem to check all my boxes. I may also try them on my snow bike as they seem to be quite open and adept at shedding snow and ice.
