Description

Prime Time

The Park Tool AP-1 Adhesive Primer prepares the surface, accelerates curing, and promotes maximum performance of Park Tool TLR-1 and TLR-2 Threadlockers as well as RC-1 Retaining Compound.

The Park Tool AP-1 Adhesive Primer should be used on all component surfaces before applying threadlockers and retaining compounds that contact carbon fiber such as PF30 bottom brackets or bearings pressed into carbon fiber frames. Failure to do so could result in permanently bonded parts. Some painted surfaces may be sensitive to threadlockers, retaining compounds, and primers.

Features:

  • Use in conjunction with threadlockers and retaining compounds
  • Competes with Loctite® 7649™
  • Test first on an inconspicuous area for staining or discoloration
