I'm an intermediate rider that totals 500 miles per month, combining flats and hills. This wheelset met the criteria that I was looking for in an affordable and durable set
Wide Rim (I'm running Conti GP 700x24, 80F90R)
Durable (I have Fulcrum Zero and Quattro in my other bikes with thousands of miles, only been trued once)
Clincher (I hope Fulcrum releases a 2-way version of a wider rim wheelset)
Affordable (less than $500)
The wheels, being on a wider platform, provides a very comfortable and solid ride. Pounding the hills didn't cause any flex (I'm 180 lbs) and was very responsive in each pedal stroke. Weight is not as important to me as ride feel and stability. I always enjoy a quiet hub and have great experience with Fulcrum. Overall, this wheelset exceeded my expectations for being a great price, even more bang for my wallet compared to my Zero (very stiff and unforgiving).
If you're on a budget and want a wheelset that's trending towards wider rims, you will not regret buying this set for your training and recreational needs.
