The new ExoShell40DR™ fabric is breathable and waterproof like the standard ExoShell40, but with the durability dialed up to tackle the harshest terrain. A tough outer layer is laminated with a soft touch, high wicking mesh inner layer that moves moisture away from your skin and through the super fine fluorine-free membrane sandwiched in the middle. A finish of eco-friendly DWR treatment delivers rain resistance you can rely on.
The MT500 has all the features you expect in high-quality pants without breaking the bank. Full-length leg zips feature improved venting options and offer easy on-off with shoes on. An extra-durable seat and inner ankle pad adds support while a pre-shaped fit maintains comfort.

Reviews
Great MTB or commuter pants for wet winter weather. Water proof for mud splash and road spray and warm with the ability to layer tights or leg warmers beneath. Tight around the lower legs so no chain snag. These are very breathable so I prefer them over my total water proof "plastic bag" pants... these look and feel better while riding and are water proof enough for the Pacific NW.
