Going nowhere fast.
No matter where your next adventure is taking you, or what type of surface you're planning to ride on, you'll be getting there faster with the 3T Exploro Team Gravel Frame underneath you. Designed for real world speed, this aerodynamically-optimized carbon gravel frameset is the perfect starting point for today's modern cyclist looking to get away from the asphalt and get some vitamin G.
While the concept of "aerodynamic gravel bikes" might seem a bit counterintuitive, it only stands to reason that having a bike that slices through the wind rather than rams into it will be beneficial. And no matter how much gravel you're grinding or fire lane shredding is going on, there's always going to be some asphalt connectors where you're going to want that road-worthy speed. The secret to the Exploro's speed is the Sqaero tubing, these tubes feature an aerodynamic leading edge and a squared off tail for the perfect blend of aerodynamics and stiffness.stretching the downtube to a massive 50mm wide tube and shrinking the seat tube to a miniscule 25mm. These two work together to pick up the airflow off the front wheel and channel it around the bike and the rider, reducing drag and improving speed.
Now of course, this bike wouldn't be much off road if it didn't have plenty of clearance for wide tires, and the Exploro has that in spades. No matter what you choose, have confidence that you'll still be able to get some serious speed. In fact, when 3T performed speed tests for the Exploro frame, they found that even muddy and loaded up with 2 full water bottles and 40c tires, this bike was faster at 20 miles per hour than the comparable round-tubed bike with 28mm tires. How's that for real world speed?
