I have used Vredestein Race Road Tubes 75mm for my Zipp 404's for about 5 years, never have to worry about using adapters that don't work!!

I hate valve extenders. They are difficult to get to seal properly, even with plumbers tape, and they can be a nightmare to remove if you get a partial flat tire. These are a great alternative

Have read other reviews of this product and can only say my experience has been quite different.
Installed one to replace a tempermental stock piece that came with the bike. Vredstien tires too.
Was surprised by the length of the stem, and the fact that there was no presta nut. After that though all was good. Powdered by something, they fit in easily to the race tires. Presta pump locked up solid to the nipple, no problem getting in air, no seepage during the chore.
Best of all it performed like a champ during my competitive event. Nice tube IMO.

I bought 8 of these tubes about a year ago (four for me and four for my daughter and son-in-law) and every one failed! They may have been old or a bad batch but they all failed on a seam or at the valve stem attachment location. I have run Vredestein Fortezza TriComp tires on my road bikes and always been very happy with the performance and longevity - I'll not buy Vredestein tubes again! You depend on your tires to be safe and stand up to what the roads dish out and when they do fail, the last thing you need is to find out your spare tubes are not any good!!

I often buy same brand new tubes with the same brand tires. This time I got burned on the tubes, because the presta valves were faulty and leaked air out of my tires after a short day ride of 60 miles. This is not acceptable to me and I cannot recommend this product.

The fixed valve is a great feature of this tube. Many pumps that we use to fix a flat while on the road take the valve out when you release it from pumping the tube.
The other option is of course CO2.
I like to keep all my options open. Recently I went to use my CO2 but had by mistake left the valve open.
Poof, my Co2 was gone in a second.
My back up option worked.

Very bulky, much more so than my favorites, the Kenda superlight. Other than that they do everything an innertube needs to do and they are about 2/3s the cost of the Kenda long stem tubes which I need.

bought 8 mounted 4 already replaced 2 before even riding...the seam on both valves leaked. Need better quality control.

No Flats in one summer season of commute.

Apparently all but 50mm length comes with a removable valve core.
Be warned - for some reason Vred measures size including the needle, so they run short.
They are pre-dusted with something like talc which is nice - i've been having problems with tubes bonding with tires otherwise.

I've only purchased two of these tubes, so my experience is limited. The first one died when i locked up my brakes and my rear tire flatted while making an emergency stop going downhill fast. Not the tubes' fault. The valve on the second one is having trouble seating properly. I finished my first ride with it and the tire was quite low. Investigation showed the tube leaked around the valve stem. It would hold air until i screwed down the nut, then it would leak. After refilling the tire and pressing the nut repeatedly, it seemed to hold pressure ok. Not sure what the problem iswas. I'll check to see if it's holding air before my next ride.

Good to use. Nothing really stands out.

hard to evaluate tubes, when you get flats it's usually the tire that gets blamed. but these seem good.

bought 2 of these. They both leaked around cruddy glue job near valve stem before even getting them fully installed. Junk. Love the tires, hate the tubes.

Have tried some of the other brands such as Sunlite and have gone back to Verdestein which seem to not only keep air better but also seem to have less issues with flats. A very reliable tube that I use in my Zipp 404 wheels without requiring me to use a stem adapter.

I do lot of bike lane riding. It seems to be the first place where glass and sharp objects end up and the last place that gets clean. I don't like fixing flats. These tubes are really tolerant of the junk, I love using them for that reason. The slightly higher weight gives me that much more training.

I bought these tubes over the less expensive option after calling the customer service number and determining that these are the only tubes they could assure me had a removable valve core-important since I self-put sealant in my tubes. Probably worth it to verify that this is still true if you need a removable valve core. The tubes are a nice robust thickness and I have experienced no defective units-I ordered 6 tubes, have used 3 and inspected the rest.

Great quality longer stem tubes that really last long. These are easy to change with and are a great value for the 80MM air valve stem. I store them because I can't get them in many places but never seem to use them up because they last so long.

Good quality tube, not the lightest, but tough, and that's important.
