This is by far the best mirror out there. I have had no issues and have over 6000 miles of use. I use this with my Garmin Varia and I have never felt so in tune with my surroundings. Highly recommended!!!!

I have had two of these mirrors and they both lasted about four rides each (35 x 4 miles on paved roads with few bumps). I like the viewing and wish I could get them to work beyond the four rides each.

Easy to install and adjust. I have another, older model on a different bike. The ball-type adjustment became loose after a couple years but it's still very functional.

It took years to set aside my ego and start riding with a mirror. I have one of these on each of my 3 bikes and have been using them for about 5 years now. They easily detach and it's only when I head out with-out a mirror that I realize how much I use it.
The design is great, it is small enough to not be totally noticeable but big enough that a quick glance will tell me if I have traffic approaching.

I have used other brands and Spintech is the best around. They do not move around from road bumps.

I have been cycling for over 15 years. I guess I forgot why I do not like mirrors when I bought this. For me I think it is best that I put all my effort in looking behind me. I was on a century ride when I glanced over my shoulder and looked pretty hard in the mirror and pulled in front of a pickup truck. Thank God they were watching me and did not hit me. It was during the day but if car has lights on they are easy to see other wise it is a crap shoot. I will just take the extra seconds to really really look instead of using any mirror.

You are not that 'PRO' to be seen using one of these. Vision is great if YOUR vision is good, don't blame it on the convex shape. This mirror has saved me from many close calls. My first set of these had a better mirror, I purchased them in Germany. You can use the right drop mirror on your left drop with zero problems(for US roads)- I've done this with my winter bike.

This might be plastic but it still does a good job. Just be careful and don't use a paper towel when cleaning this, Use a soft rag. I like knowing what is coming up from my rear when riding on the road.

Got them, extremely easy to install and they are great!!! I love the fact that I can see behind me and I don't have to have a helmet mirror or anything like that!
I will recommend this item to anyone!!

This mirror works great on my commuter and road bikes, its always there when I need it and very easy to unjust on the fly although stays put very well.

Best feature you have full view when in the drops. Your hand does not block out the traffic behind you (especially important while descending in my view). Adjustable is good.
Room for improvement? Glass would better than plastic. Over a short period of time fine lines appear on surface from cleaning lightly with soft rag/glass cleaner to remove smudges.

I use this product on my left side bar end only. My 10 mile lap course that I use is all right hand turns, but I deviate occasionally and that is when this mirror is most useful. The ability to see behind myself a distance allows me to time a left turn avoiding twisting my torso and torquing my handlebar causing abrupt left steer. I typically view this mirror until I am sure there is no gaining traffic behind me and then I necessarily check over my shoulder for traffic in my blind spot and, once clear, I veer slowly and carefully into a left hand turn. I like the shape and size of this mirror. If your bike is not in a completely dry storage place these mirrors can freckle with little spots of corrosion. My first mirror lasted over five years. I recently ordered a new one to get back to a crisp and clear mirror and I won't ride without one of this great safety addition.

Really nice to have mirrors on each side. Not enough of a big deal to dock these a star, but note that these mirrors are susceptible to being bumped out of their proper adjustment (when you lean the bike against a wall, at a bike rack, etc). So I usually need to check and adjust them when I hop on my bike. But adjusting them is quick and easy, especially once you figure out the mirror position that works for you.

This mirror has changed the way I ride. No more looking over my shoulder every 10 seconds. I can glance down to the mirror to look for traffic or a rider behind me. I should have bought one a long time ago. I tried the helmet mirror, never got used to it. I got comfortable with the the Sprintech mirror within the first 5 miles. Also, it's easy to install, took 10 minutes.

I needed a mirror that was highly functional and this product exceeded my expectations.

My drops are at an angle that gave me precious little view. Small mirror and I felt relatively unsafe taking my eyes off the road long enough to get a read on anything behind me.
They install very easily and fortunately uninstall as easily as I took them off.

Excellent for assuring a concerned SOParent that you are taking safety precautions while not making your bike look to goofy. Useless if you are actually interested in seeing what is behind you

I had been using one of those Look-Im-A-Dork mirrors that attaches to glasses with modicum of success. I didn't like the fact that I was constantly misplacing them, it weighted down my glasses and finally, it's dorky. So, after reading a lot of mixed reviews, I took the plunge on these bar end mirrors. Image clarity/quality is not as good as the glasses mounted mirror. And the convex mirror took some time getting used to. But I LOVE the fact that it's always unobtrusively there when I need it and not hanging off my glasses. There are pros and cons to every gadget but I'm happy with the switch. This product hit the right balance of form and function I was looking for.

The mirror is easy to install and a great purchase. There is very little vibration when riding, even on rough roads. The rear view is small, however, it still provides added safety to view upcoming cars and bikers, but always check before making lane changes or passing slower riders. I will be purchasing another mirror for my second bike and would recommend it to other riders.

These beat helmet mounted mirrors. I find that I check behind me more often when I don't have to attempt to get the helmet mirror just right in order to see anything. The left mirror gets primary attention, but if you were biking in city traffic, both would come in handy. Look decent on the end of the drop bars also.
