Easy to use, just enough protection from chilly SF Bay Area winter days

Careful on the Sizing

I wear a size 46 Euro and the LargeXLarge Toe Cover size is too small. I already ripped the lining that goes just past the cleat by stretching it too much when putting them on. I would definitely purchase this product again but not unless I get a pair at least one size, if not two sizes larger. Who sells such larger sizes will likely be hard to find. They do a good job to keep your feet warm down to about 50 degrees, below that they may help minimally but your feet will still get chilled, especially if on the bike for more than an hour in temps in the 40s wearing one pair of socks as I do. It looks like my pair will not last beyond this Winter but at least now I know the sizing.

These do what they say (keep your toes warm) and stay in place, thanks to the little piece that goes behind your cleat. They seem pretty durable.

For the price, these shoe covers are tough to beat. The larger size fit my size 43.5 shoe nicely with Shimano SPD-SL cleats. Kept my feet warm on some chilly rides up and down Mt Diablo in Northern California.

This comes in very handy during those early cold mornings in late October early November when the temperature dips below 45 degrees.....a solid buy!

I live in Mexico City therefore it is not as cold to order a full shoe cover or boot they help me out in my training that I start very early at 6 am and the temperature is around 0 celsius (32 Farenheit) after 3 hours of training/riding they provide the right temperature so I will not get sweaty feet after three hours but also my feet will not be as cold so I could not start the run transition right after I left the bike

These will keep your feet warm in road shoes!

I had a pair of toe covers from the big box of bike stores. They cost less. The glee of spending less evaporated the first time I put them on and the sole tore with normal use. Upon returning them, it was implied it was my own fault. A second pair was purchased with the replacements lasting 4 rides.

Ok... Pearl Izumi makes some pretty awesome clothing items, and the same attention to detail comes through on these inexpensive items. YOU need to block the wind from the toe box of road shoes in the cool to cold weather. These do the trick - warm toes! What Pearl Izumi did that was the extra mile, was to sew binding around the cleat opening. Tearing sole solved! Brilliant. These toe covers have already outlasted two pair of the other guys'.

While these fit ok on road shoes but the Pro version with the velcro attachment is a better all around toe cover. It will fit mtb and road shoes and is easier to put on with the velcro attachement. I dont use these for the above reasons but do,have 2 pairs of the PROs.

Use with mountain bike shoes, which can't fit booties over them. Fortunately they are inexpensive, tend to destroy a pair every winter with rock strikes.

Bought these toe covers for cool weather rides. My bike shoes are vented and my toes get cold pretty quickly. Used the toe covers on a recent 42 degree ride, and my feet stayed warm.

I wore these the other day while the east wind was trying to blow me off of my bike. My toes stayed toasty. I wear a 47 shoe and the size XL is very tight. I guess that means they won't slip off!
