Ive been using GravelKing tires on my bikes for touring around the world for 4 years. They get the job done, last a long time, offer a soft ride and look good to. I ride them tubeless and have never had a puncture.

The Panaracer GravelKing+ have stood up well, and excelled when riding at speed across dry, hard-packed trails and darting on and off-road. A great choice for rides that take in a lot of paved road as well as off-road riding. But if you're riding through pure mud, you'll need to opt for more aggressive tread.

I like the tire, rides nice on gravel and pavement.

These were great for our C&O Canal towpath adventure. The park service has been resurfacing portions of the path and these 32c tires are absolutely perfect for the packed gravel resurfaced portions. Definitely still need 38c for portions that have not been resurfaced yet. I'm awaiting my new bike for that!

I put these on my road bike so I had the option to ride some dirt if I wanted to. I do a very small amount of gravel/dirt climbing every now and then. Great for my use case! But I wouldn't use these for more technical or advanced trail use.

on a gravel bike

The thing that didn't work quite as well as I had hoped was riding on gravel. We had a 15% grade and no matter what I tried my tires spun out and I couldn't get traction to climb. Rocks and gravel and dirt/sand shot out as I tried to pedal. Other than that climb the tires worked great.

I ride gravel and have the Panaracer SK on one wheelset and these tires in the other. These are great since I can ride road miles and not feel like they are holding me back from a smooth ride Plus they perform well on heavy duty gravel. I have well over 1200 miles on these and are still in good shape. FYI. They bleed Stans quite a bit in the beginning but eventually seal up nice.

I wanted a semi slick tire to get around on the greenbelt trails with an occasional run on a single track trail. I have ridden about 100 miles on these tires and am very happy with them. Here is what I have experienced thus far with the various terrain ridden with them
-Hard packed dirt - These tires excel here. Kind of scary how well they hook up.
-Pavement - About as good as expected with a file type tire. I run tubeless around 50-60 psi and notice they are a little grabby going around slow turns. If I were to go on a full pavement long road ride, I would pump them up a bit.
-Gravelcrushed granite - Pretty good here. I have notice the tires breaking loose when corning on thicker crushed granite which is mostly poor line choices.
-Thicker marble sized pebbles - Not good. But this a semi slick tire that I am pushing too far on single track trails.
-Mudsnow - Terrible. Hit a few patches of north facing mud and snow by accident. These tires are not intended for this.
Overall very pleased with the tires.

A good all around tire. It's enough to keep up on the road, but can still take a reasonable beating off road. You can get a lot father off road on a file tread like this than you would imagine. I use this on rocky double track in southern California all the time. I have gotten a few punctures when riding tubeless, but they all sealed well enough. My one significant complaint is that the maximum pressure is only 60 psi when tubeless. This is low for riding on the road, so keep that in mind.

How do I love thee? 38mm, tubeless, sturdy, durable, lightweight, oh, and very fairly priced. I've been on Gravel Kings for five years now and have no complaints, nuf said.
