Suberb dry grip when cornering. Very good wet grip. Good puncture resistance. Quite long lasting. Great value, especially when on sale. I wish Michelin would continue to produce this model.

Great tubeless tires. Light weight and good feel on the road and around the turns with a grippy feel. The only potential short coming is how long it lasts and costs but that is a good compromise.

Best tire I have had in a very long time.

I have been using Michelin Pro for several years and I have been very pleased with them. I am a moderate rider about 4,000 miles of riding a year and tires usually last for one year.

Huge huge grip, very quiet and supple. I love the ride quality. Despite their race pedigree I use them on gravel (saltzman, Otto miller etc.) they hold up fine on the rough stuff

Good for long distance and speed

Great road tire, confidence while in descents and cornering. Early wear factor is only negative.

About 200 miles and they still look brand new. I use them for practice. You can never go wrong with a Michelin.

incredible improvement over my old tires. But for fellow Bianchi riders out there, it doesn't quite go with celeste )

Awesome tires!!!!!

Used everyday for training rides. Rolling resistance has always been good with their pro race series, have used them for years. Mounted easier than previous models and cut resistance seems better. Good deal at western.

I've ridden Conti GP4000's for years and was tempted away by a great deal on these tires. I was surprised at how noticeably different the Pro4 SC's are. The Pro4 SC seem faster (who can really tell?) and they definitely grip more solidly in high speed turns than GP4000's, even on wet roads. It takes a little time to get used to the initial entry to turns - there is a definite loose feel before you lean and dig in, but once on your line, they hold tight.
A few other notes ...
- Tread rubber seems tougher than GP4000's, I have fewer annoying small cuts and glass nicks
- Flat resistance is good
- They look great.

I have been using Michelin Pro tires for years. I have always preferred them because they stick to the road like glue. My only complaint with the previous generation Pro3 was its low puncture resistance. I just assumed this was the price you payed when using a grippy tire (softer compound). With the Pro4, I am happy to report that Michelin has managed to keep all the performance (possibly better) and increased the puncture resistance significantly. The Pro4 is still a grippy tire and holds a line like a champ, but I have noticed a significant decrease in cuts and punctures on the contact patch. Fewer tires and great performance. Too cool. Thanks Michelin.

I was just giving up on some nice riding but trouble prone hutchinson tires, and was pretty sure I was going to get Vittoria (Rubino Pro), cause my last ones lasted a long time and possibly I never got a flat if I remember correctly. And the ride quality of those was great, too.
But then Western Bike Works had a blowout sale on these on the 4th of July, and I couldn't pass it up. I haven't had these a long time, or have logged alot of miles, but so far I am really pleased. They are a grippy and responsive tire, and I have eliminated the sudden rash of flats I was having with the Hutchinson's. No flats yet, I have ridden these in varied conditions, even raced in the rain, and they are holding up well. I think these are best run at a bit lower pressures than I am used to, but without apparent effect on rolling resistance.
I guess people had a lot of complaints with the Pro 3 Race, but it looks like Michelin has remedied the issues and come out with a winner.

Just recently took these tires out for a ride, and they were really smooth, and responsive. Really iffy about fast corners cause I almost lost it....but was quick to recover. So far they are one of my favorite tires for the summer. Has great rolling resistance. I'm glad I purchased 2 sets....hehe.

the tires are great. I have had no problem's at all with them. I currently have 1100 miles on them without a problem. So far they are good on every thing i have taken them on.Currently I do triathlon's and long distance rides.

I'm a road cyclist who loves to go fast on the flats, descents, and (when I can muster it) up the hills. I like these tires because they're smooth rolling, grippy, and puncture-resistant, which means I can worry about riding not flats when riding all over the Willamette Valley. I've been a huge fan of Michelin's road tires for several years and this is one of its best.

This is a step up from the Pro 3 which was an excellent tire. I have been running 85-90 PSI on wider rims like HED Jet 4 (i am 162lbs), my carbon frame rides like a Cadillac but handles like an F1 - try it, your butt will thank you. On the Pro 3's I normally got about 2400 miles on the rears with 1 or 2 flats at most, riding crappy roads, glass, winter etc. The 4's feel even smoother and are holding up just as well.

I'm very satisfied with the Pro4s. I got a pair on sale here at Western and heve been happy with their durability. Have had one flat due to a beer botle glass sliver in 500 miles. However, I have ridden through alot of glass and other sharp things and they have held up well. Rolling resistance is low and grip is very good. Only wish they sold the 25mm's in all those cool colors.
ps would have given 5 stars if price a bit lower.

Awesome traction wet or dry.
25mm tires provides better handling and comfort since you can run lower tire pressure than 23mm.
Very durable.
Make sure you have enough clearance with your brake calipers before ordering 25mm. It might rub on certain ones.
