Better walking traction than the non grip cleat I wouldnt use the non-grip version.

Im a big fan of the grip cleats - not only for being able to walk around with ease when off the bike but for my usage, they tend to outlast their counterpart, non-grip version.

The cleats are excellent with my Garmin Vector pedals.

These are very comfortable cleats for riding and when you have to stop and walk. Easily installed in just a few minutes.

As long as you're riding, not walking, this is the cleat for you. I've never had any knee problems and the transfer of power from foot to pedal is something you can definitely feel. Better than the original Look system.

These are far better then the cheaper Looks which cause you to slip on the road. These cleats have a soft foamy like plastic that will prevent a spill. The cleat last a long them even the soft foamy part.

These are the way to go when replacing your cleats. Yes, the rubber will fall off at some point and you have to replace them then, but they are much safer and easier to walk on when you're off the bike. Especially when it's wet.

These Grip cleats are a no brainer for me. Now when I unclip and put my foot on the ground there is no slipping. I feel much more secure. I have had a few falls going nowhere doing that. These are great!

Don't get me wrong, LOOK products are great! I normally use the grey, thought I'd give the red a try: too much movement for me. I am sure these work great for some. Like shoes, cleats are totally individual!

I prefer this type of pedals and clips on my road bike.

The grip is the key, a must if you stop for coffee or your kitchen floor is slick. Work fine on Specialed shoes but on my Sidi boots it was necessary to add a spacer or the screws went into the inserts. For a spacer, a Home Depot washer five cents is perfect.

It was time to replace my previous pair of the same Look Keo Grip Cleats. I like the fact that these have rubber grips on the cleats, helping to ensure good footing whether you're clipped out at a stop or walking. Also, clipping in and out of my Keo Classic pedals with these cleats is relatively painless as well. I decided this time around, to help further extend the life of these cleats by getting myself a pair of Look Keo Cleat Covers.
Pros light-weight, helps with slippingsliding issues, clipping in and out not a problem
Cons pricey unless on sale, rubber grip wear may be an issue

I wish there was more to say about pedal cleats, but they work well and do their thing. I'm a trainer/racer/commuter rider, and when I come and go from work, I have to use a loading dock ramp, which is coated with epoxy. In carbon-soled bike shoes, it's interesting in the wet, but I've noticed it's far easier to walk around with the grip cleats vs the all plastic ones.
It may be placebo, but I do feel that these stay more secure in the pedal once clipped in. They last longer for sure if you walk a lot, I get 6 months or so and I don't do any walking other than in and out of my house or work. Keep 'em lubed with some dry wax and they are good to go.
Catch a sale and stock up.

This is my go to cleat when replacing worn out cleats. The small pads really do help keeping me from ice skating when stepping off the bike. The pads did not interfere with clipping in/out. Give them a try

If you use LOOK pedals then these are your cleats. I prefer the grip version of their cleats since I do walk on them, albeit not often or far, but having that little bit of grip is nice. It doesn't wear too quickly, either. And it might seem like a throw-away piece but the Memory Positioner is awesome. Once you get it set, replacing your cleats is super-easy. You won't have to measure or try to align your cleats as they once were. The new cleat will snap right onto the Positioner so all you have to do is tighten them down. Simple.

The big upgrade over PD-R8000 pedals was the Carbon Keo Blade pedals, which are better in every way, but the cleats that came with mine were the hard plastic suicide cleats. I never even mounted them. These are surprisingly sure-footed, and vs the Shimano "out-rigger" tread design, very stable side-to-side, which was a concern. Pleasantly light, they are wearing well and are easier to walk in on hard, indoor floors. I also like the greater float vs Shimano. They fit flush inside of the aero foot-bed of my Look pedals - which are every bit as good as DuraAce for ~ half the price.

The nonslip seems to work, but slipping with the regular cleats was rarely an issue for me. I'm not the best to answer that issue. They are more difficult to clip in than the regular cleats.
