Purchased these tires for ride on the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal trails. These trails combined are 340 miles of paved, gravel and dirt. These tires were ideal for this ride. Great traction on the rougher surfaces and low rolling resistance on the paved portions. When I ordered the tires, they arrived when promised in good shape. I forwarded a link to the web site and others in my ride purchased the same tires for their bikes.
Great tires and ordering process.

As others have already mentioned, these tires will really smooth out the ride of your mountain bike. The tire appears to be of quality construction/material.
I haven't been in the dirt or hardcore off-road since I mounted them, but they do great in the grassy hills around my house and obviously are great on the road. An added bonus is that they roll true and are whisper quiet compared to a full knobby tire.
I highly recommend these tires to those that want a smoother on-road ride without having to lose their mountain bike's ruggedness in the process.

We carry our mountain bikes when we travel in our motor home and I used to carry two sets of wheels and tires for each bike. It was a pain and time consuming to switch out the wheels for different types of riding, so now I have tires that work for both road and dirt riding.

I really like these tires. Put them on my mountain bike and took 18 Boy Scouts down the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Tow Path (340 miles from Pittsburgh PA to Washington DC). The tires made the asphalt trail portions easier and had great traction on the gravel and mudd portions of this 340 mile ride. Many of our riders purchased these tires and they had no flats on the ride.

Love these tires! No resistance for street riding (my town is all hills), yet substantial enough for dirt roads and walking trails. Great value as some area bike shops wanted $50, not including tubes and installation. Thanks!

Since I will be doing more paved riding than off road. I chose these tires. They work and ride great. I recommend these to any one wanting to ride on pavement with their mtn bike.

I used this tire on the back wheel of my hybrid bike and I was pleased with the tread and wear.

Mostly used for city touring. Sometimes I take my bike to a hardpack dirt road.. Tire rolls very well on pavement. Nice tire !!

Put them on in the Spring before heading to Moab and leave them on until the rains set in up here in the Fall.

These came on a MTB/hybrid bike I bought for commuting. The daily commute is around 15km each way, with the late-day ride on blistering hot rough/high-grip asphalt you can literally cook an egg on it in summer. Off-road routes are usually on loose sand and crushed coral/granite gravel or packed clay, but haven't had any durability or "chunking" problems with these tires. On-road routes are extremely steep and hilly out here. The knobby sides on these tires are nice for off-road segments but force me to slow descents down at times to make sure I can hit hard turns without feeling the knobs start to bend/skid on hard leans.
These have been extremely reliable for hybrids. I don't really like hybrids because of the need to slow fast road descents, but considering the diversity required for commuting out here these tires are probably what I'll wind up buying again when the rear tire finally wears out. I'm at around 1500kms on them now, and expect the rear to last around another 500km or so at this rate save some accident. I store the bike inside and have exactly zero cracks on the sidewalls.

Used on my trip down the Califoria cost from Lompoc to San Diego. Was a great ride. Great on the street and good on sand/off road for the trip. I had a good ride using these tires.

I bought two sets of these for mine and my friend's mountain bikes. We don't do much off-road riding so we wanted something a little more suitable for the road and paths that are not too extreme. These tires turned out to be way more than expected.
The only real negative to the tire is how thin the walls are. It was twisted around to be ship, as are most tires, but it didn't want to go back to its regular for a while. With the walls being pretty thin and the shape being a little messed up, they were a little difficult to keep on the rim at first but once the tube has some air in it, its fine.
Now for the positives. First of all, its cheap and for someone that doesn't have much money, I would strongly suggest buying this product. These tires have also proven to be quite strong, I haven't even had one sand-bur go through them. The best thing about these tires is the boost in speed that it gives. I usually ride a road bike and the speed of a mountain bike usually does not compare. These tires, if you are riding on pavement or something hard, provide great traction and a huge burst in speed.

Half of my road is paved the other is quite rough and usually muddy. These tires are a dream come true on the highway and also work very well in the muck. I was pleasantly surprised. I have been bike riding for at least 45 years and was stuck using the more aggressive tires for traction up until now.

I use these tires on my Smith and Wesson Perimeter. They give me great road speed and the knobs grip on tight turns and dirt roads.
These were way underpriced and I cant believe Kenda stopped production. The best tire I ever had for city/slight dirt. You wont be dissapointed. Buy Now!!

I threw two of these on my commuter. Very smooth rolling but good traction when I am on the crushed granite trails. I would buy these again when they wear out.

got these on sale at ** bucks a piece. what an amazing price for these great tires. i took them on the c& o canal ( 99% unpaved ) they handled predictably and even in heavy rain and mud never lost control despite having a smooth center tread. as well i had exceeded the max psi to almost 80 and never got a flat i rode these for a total of 113 miles with no hiccups. an amazing tire from kenda!!!
