There is nothing that I dont like. I use this on my road bike and it goes on and off with ease. Also comes with a rechargeable plugin cable. This computer will last for several rides before it needs to be recharged.

My decided to upgrade my old Edge which still works fine but I wanted an upgrade that would communicate via Bluetooth. I have used it for a couple hundred miles and I have been happy. The device connects very quickly to GPS better than any of my other Garmin devices. It also connects very quick to my phone using Bluetooth. The navigation is a toy that I do not really need but works fine. If you have a slow internet connection, initial setup takes some time and patience.

This is my first GPS unit. I bought it for an upcoming self supported bike trip from Albany NY to Portland ME. I'm still getting used to it and find the interface a little confusing. It tracks your ride, showing time elapsed, average speed , maximum speed, elevation gain and calories used. It interfaces with their app Connect, Strava, Map My Ride and others. Once you're set up everything uploads to the other sites. There is some question about battery life, but I've kept it on an external battery or my dynamo hub and have had no battery loss over a 7 hour period

You will want this product if you have the Di2 system. Easy to setup and view your gearing and if you have the auto mode on a tri bike it will beep when you reach the last gear before a front ring change. Battery status and copious amounts of data fields to display.

Terrific GPS cycling computer. This is an exponential improvement over my prevous Garmin Edge 500. Highly customizable color screens, all the cycling metrics you could want, fast GPS signal acquiring, and great large screen. Pre-loaded mapscourses and live strava segments are also a nice feature.

My new Garmin Edge 520 Plus is my third Garmin device.
As far as I am concerned, Garmin is the only way to go. You can get any and all ride information that you could possibly imagine. And I download this direct to my Strava account. This is a great computer, and I strongly recommend it.

I bought the Garmin 529 Plus on sale. My needs are pretty simple so I don't use much of the functionality the Garmin provides (e.g. heart rate, cadence, power, etc.). So far I am satisfied with the Garmin. It is hard to give a complete review at this point as lack experience with it.

Great GPS bike computer in a small package with all the metrics you need to enjoy riding! No touch screen. Mapping is simplistic but works at an acceptable level. Easy to load maps through garmin connect and just as easy to upload onto Strava.

This edge520plus does most of what I need, in a very nice small package. The display is excellent, highly visible in all kinds of lighting situations. I like the ability to customize the selection of fields to be displayed. The gps capability is excellent. The map display is nice, if a bit small. The one thing I would like to see added is the ability to pick up heart rate from my Garmin watch with optical sensor.

Id like to give it 4 1/2 stars. The only issue was that my usb plug cover on the back has never shut properly and always flips open when I put it into the mount. Might be an issue in the future in the rain.

Great unit. Works flawlessly and syncs to smartphone easily. Easy to read face even when not lit. Buttons are small but so is this unit. Excellent cycling feedback with the Garmin Connect app.

Road cycling is my preferred use. I would suggest anyone using this to download the manual. It was very well done in explaining the functions through the various menus. A few minor things were missed, but definitely not a deal breaker. The various data screens can be customized nicely to your preferences of what is important to you to see for each type of activity (type of riding). From the Connect store many addons can be installed so you would be hard pressed not to make this computer personalized. Pairing a Bluetooth ear piece is nice as it will give you periodic stats as you ride along with info on in-coming calls, etc. , too. The navigation map is really done well giving you detailed turn-by-turn directions with uploaded courses. When paired with a Bluetooth ear piece, you'll get audio on directions.

Provides a lot of information and the multiple screens allow you to see key information while keeping the digits large and easy to see. Good to excellent battery life. Only downside is that the climbing information is somewhat inaccurate. When you start climbing, for example, it takes many seconds before the altimeter adjusts. You can be climbing while the altimeter shows the you are on a negative gradient.

Bought the plus to replace my 520 in order to get longer battery life. The plus would not pair to my iPhone nor would it upload rides. Really wanted this computer to work but am tired of the multiple solutions Garmin offer to try to get their products to work properly.

This computer does everything I need it to and a lot I'll probably never use. Hopefully it will have a good long term reliability like my Garmins have been.

This is my 3rd Garmin and definitely the best.

Coming from a 4 year old Edge, this is easy to read. It finds the satellites quickly, and you can program on the display what you want to see. Trailforks is not as easy to read as on a phone, but if you don't want to ride with your phone on your bars off road, this will save you from pulling it out at every stop.

This device opened up a while new world for me, the information generated together with my Garmin Vector 3 has made me more aware of my baseline and identified areas where I can improve thus making my cycling experience more enjoyable
