These are great bibs - extremely comfortable and high quality material. Great chamois as well. They do fit very snug - I'm 6' and a very thin 140 lbs and the M is a pretty aero fit (I'm a size S in all other Castelli). My only complaint is that the inseam is a little short - wish the legs were cut an inch or so longer. Anyway, highly recommended.

Good bib. Size up as usual with Castelli. Im 511 and 81 kg and Xl is just about right. The only thing I would add to improve the bib is to beef up the fabric in the short where the chamois is stitched in. That where my last pair gave out

I have had these bibs for the last two months and they are very comfortable, fit well. I was a bit concerned about the sizing, I'm 5 ft11 12, 210 lbs. I purchased the XXL and the fit is just right. Nice chamois, good ventilation, feels like you are riding naked but with support in all the right places. Very high quality materials and workmanship. I like the different materials used in the construction of these bibs, the right material in the right places, especially the shoulder straps, nice and flat. I will absolutely buy another pair. Western bike delivered them fast and the price was great. I can always count on great service from Western.

My preference for Castelli goes way back. Once you're dialed in, no need to break the chain. Free Aero Race Bib provides you all the details you'll find in more expensive bibs. Price point is relative to one's budget, but I've learned quality workmanship will drive higher return on investment for many, many miles.

The most comfortable bib shorts I have ever had. No pressure points, excellent chamois, and very durable. Latest purchase is my 4th pair, the first pair purchased is still in use and exhibits very little wear. WesternBikeWorks offers excellent pricing making these shorts a good value.

2nd pair of bibs to date. I wanted a good pair, I ride long distance so comfort was important. I am short and stocky, 5'-6 weighing 225 lbs. and 62 years old. Got a XXL, wasn't sure how they would fit. But fit they did. Very happy with my purchase, it was as advertised. I used to ware a liner with support but with these, I do not need that. I would get another pair which I just might because of all the riding I do.

Money invested DOES make a difference. The chamois is the best I have ridden on and the fit and finish of the bibs are superb.

I wear these on my longer rides, 50 miles or more. They are comfortable, provide good support, and are cool.

These bibs fit perfectly and the pad is the best on the market. I have tried the high priced bibs from Bontrager, Voler, Craft and Pearl Izumi. All of those don't come close to Castelli with the X2 pad. I am 6'2, 195lbs with a long torso and the XL fit perfect. I would recommend these shorts to anyone who wants all day comfort without any problems.

These are great shorts, I only wish I had tried them sooner! The chamois is the feature that really makes these so nice, specifically the shape and the way the edges of the chamois are thin to minimize chafing. I have previously used the top model Pearl Izumi bib shorts for years and they performed ok but in the last few years my mileage has increased and I was getting more and more irritationchafing resulting in minor sores (especially in the Central Texas summer sweat season when everything gets soggy). These Castelli shorts rival the much more expensive Assos shorts in comfort and chamois performance. The only thing I would change would be to add a bit of length to the bib straps since I am tall and the size that fits my legships is a bit too shorttight from a length perspective ... it's not really a problem when in riding position but noticeable nonetheless.

The material used in these bib shorts is of very high quality. I have around 1000 miles in them and they've been washed numerous times (be sure to hang dry). All stitching has remained perfect and the material shows no signs of pilling. The leg grippers are thin, simple, comfortable and perform great. The mesh straps are airy and the feel of them disappears while riding. The Progetto x2 air chamois really completes the package. I've had issues in the past with chamois that have uneven edges (pod like areas) where they contact the skin. The ultra soft material of the Progetto X2 chamois is flat with any padding thickness variations taking place below the skin contact surface. I've worn these on several century rides and when paired with DZNUTS chamois cream have had no issues. These are and will continue to be my go to bibs for every ride over 60F. Just waiting for the right price to order more!

Castelli for me has never been a shot in the dark they never disappoint. As always size up. These bibs are great for a hot steamy 3hr ride here in Miami. Comfortable and cool!!!

First off, I am 5'11, 180 lbs. I admit that I am a bit heavier than my usual 165 lbs for reasons I won't bore you with. Losing the extra weight is a priority at the moment. That aside, this appears to be a nicely made, if rather pricey, pair of bib shorts. I say appear because I have yet to use them. The reason? The fit! I studied the sizing chart carefully and came away believing the XL would fit me fine. Wrong. I swear, trying to slip this thing on was like putting on a too small condom. It was so tight I could barely breathe. I don't know how much weight I'll have to lose to fit into this, but it could be at least 20 pounds.
My question for Castelli is who are you making these for? Eighteen year-old professional cyclists? Come on, calling this an XL is like calling a size 8 shoe a 12. And whoever came up with that sizing chart needs to get some real world experience.
