I have been using a fanny pack to carry my (larger) Smartphone, keys, wallet and tissues and wanted to try a top tube bag in its place. The Banjo Brothers Top Tube Bag attached to my bike easily and seems sturdy and well-made. It didn't shift during my ride and was not in the way while pedaling. The hook and loop fasteners were secure throughout the ride.
However, the bag is very small. I ended up putting the phone in my trunk bag (which fit in the top tube bag- but not with anything except tissues), the keys in a pocket-leaving my wallet and tissues for the top tube bag.
If you travel light it's a great little bag. Looks like I'm on the right track...just need to find something a bit larger.

compartment is to Sm , does't hold much.

I love the size of this bag, perfect for a century ride or even shorter rides to store my essentials for a ride.

Durable and handy location to keep bike essentials, and fits my iPhone just perfectly.

I have two bikes and always have these banjo bags on for my asthma inhaler, kleenex and phone. I dont like having gear in my jersey pockets (makes me look fat!). These last years and then when the velcro isnt as strong I order a new one. Inexpensive, work well, love them!

This thing is pure simplicity with no special features. I could do without the clear top, but it's not objectionable.
The straps are long and trim-to-fit. The top has a Velcro closure that seems OK so far.
My iPhone 7 and iTouch are a perfect fit (anything bigger than a standard iPhone 7 ain't gonna fit) along with a couple of Fig Newtons, the garage remote, ID, credit card, and some cash.
If you need more than that, get a different bag.

I use this on a hybrid bike I use around town in San Diego. It holds a small wallet, cell phone, & keys easily. I wish it didn't have a clear cover. I know what's in there and don't need to see it. I often take a bandanna or tissue to cover my phone to protect it from the sun. I have also used this on my mt bike which has a wider frame, so the longer straps are good to have. They don't get in the way as other reviewers have suggested.

I attached this bag to my seatpost and top tube. It stays put there, with my cable and lock in it. Very easy to access and has enough capacity.

I can fit my iPhone 6 , my money pouch and an energy bar. I use on both my bikes. It doesn't quite fit on my Pinarello. The front strap is not long enough to go around the top-tube completely but I use anyway .
The Headtube straps could be longer.

We have one on each of our 4 bikes. Very useful and sturdy with minor exception of clear top. Banjo Bros should offer clear plastic or fabric as options. Straps are long as previous reviewer mentions, but scissors easily trim to your needed length. Mounts very securly, pads under bag protect frame from bucklestrap scratches, and we use the extra length to secure a frame mount pump under the top tube. Not suitable for large smartphones.

only problem is the Velcro straps are to long to attach properly

Great value and quality workmanship. Compared to other name brands with lesser quality and bigger price tags. Would reccomend to friends.

Just perfect for regular size I phone emergency reading glasses a lot more.
Very good attachment straps and lid. I shortened mine with scissors where they are extra long.
15 bucks is almost a give away. Far better product than last 40$ bento box that did not fit phone.

The idea works well EXCEPT ... the straps that wrap around the cross-bar are too long andor the velcro holder will not go through the strap guide - which means that the unit will not fit tight on some cross-bars. Further, the velcro strips that wrap around the steering post catch on themselves and make installation even more of a chore. I expect these issues are by design ... to make the unit capable of fitting all sorts of different bikes. But the result is that it makes intermittent (i.e. when needed) installation a pain - AND it requires some modification of the straps to be an effective snug-fitting tool. Purely my opinion

needed a tube bag for phone and a few small items. This is very small ,and barely holds my phone, but it works

I use a top tube to store my keys, mask! $ a bar, lip balm....this isn't the best I've ever owned...too thin and the magnet flips open at random times

It's an Ok product but I wouldn't put my cell phone in it if rain is expected. Better to seal items in a baggie then put it in the bag. If the top cover was bigger this wouldn't be a problem. The cover does not stop rain entering along the sides of the bag.

I use only for very long rides. It holds a lot of stuff and fits well on top tube. I don't like a saddle mount bag and this is a great alternative but I wish it was slightly smaller.
