A more reliable dropper.

Thomson's anticipated Elite Covert Dropper blends the best features of their original Elite seatpost with nitrogen charged drop post technology, providing hassle free height adjustment and bombproof strength. This Covert version has an internal cable routing design for a clean-looking install on compatible frames.

Like the fixed position Elite, this Dropper version features a one piece forged inner post and lower rail clamp, along with Thomson's proven two-bolt angle adjustment. Height adjustment is smartly handled using a sealed hydraulic cartridge -- no bleeding required. A Nitrogen return mechanism returns the post to its original height, and Thomson has dampened travel in the last 15mm, preventing any unwelcome surprises as your saddle rises into place.

You get nearly five inches of travel (125mm), and infinite positioning within that range. Custom made Norglide bearing bushings, Trelleborg O-Rings, and seals keep everything running smooth as silk.

The Thomson Elite Dropper Seatpost is available in 30.9 x 400mm and 31.6 x 400mm sizes. Each size features 5mm of setback. Also included are a remote lever, housing, cable, seat collar, and housing guide. Claimed weight: 592g (system).

Note: This post requires frames that are compatible with internal dropper routing. Contact us with questions or concerns.
