The all-new SRAM RED chain was redeveloped from the ground up. The unique link shape allows the chain to be narrower and lighter while increasing strength and providing more space between the outer plates of the chain and the cogs on either side. Result: a quieter chain with faster, more precise shifts

I have a new Canyon Grizl and got a great deal from WesternBikeWorks to add more bling when the time comes. With the Oil Slick SRAM RED chain, valve stems, and bottle carriers added now the bling is coming together. All of the products (mostly purchased through WBW) for the Grizl (and my other bikes) have been of high quality and I do receive my orders very quickly. I have had to return a set of pedals due to manufacturing problems, an it was not a big deal at all working with WBW to get it remedied. They have been my go to bike store for quite some time for a reason!
I had a spare silver SRAM 12 speed chain but when the rainbow colored chains came out I had to have one and my spare went by the way of online auction! My bike frame is matte black so the chain looks super nice with that color! I was thinking it was a little crazy to replace my spare just for appearance sake but after I installed the new chain I was glad I did. Always nice to sit back with a cup of coffee and give your pride and joy a look over! Concerning performance and value, SRAM 12 speed flattop chains are not cheap but they are a good overall value since it has been my experience that they last a really long time over other traditional chains. Rainbow chains for me from here on out!
I never had issues with SRAM chains with exception with "shipping" lube. it is little harder to remove before hot wax treatment. This is one received same treatment and works perfectly with AXS drivetrain. shifting is spot on and is very quiet due to wax. When weather gets better will do more miles while still riding AXS system with slat top chain with special . meanwhile I am riding CX bike with 11s regular SRAM 22 chain.
