Description

Pedal Harder. Pedal Smarter.

The crank is the very center of SRAM's X-Range gearing philosophy, and its heart is the SRAM Force AXS D2 DUB 2x 12-Speed Crankset.

With tight 13-tooth gaps between chainrings paired to wide-range cassettes, riders get more range while shifting less frequently and staying in the big ring longer. Previously only available on RED, integrated chainrings are light, stiff, and incredibly durable. The black finish mated to dazzling glossy carbon arms will elevate any bike.

Features:

  • X-Range gearing technology gives you more range and a smoother gear progression, so you're always in the right gear
  • Crisp and accurate front shifts
  • Carbon fiber crankarms for light weight and stiffness
  • Unique chainring shape results in a lighter weight, stiffer, more durable crankset
  • DUB bottom bracket adds durability and simplicity
  • 50/37T, 48/35T and 46/33T chainring combos available
  • Can be upgraded to a power meter

Original new condition, box, packaging, and accessories. Exactly as described. Arrived early. The glossy finish is pretty easily scratched when on the bike, but that is Sram's design, not this site's fault at all. Beware the 50/37 cannot be used with a force D1 front derailleur without purchasing a front derailleur shim and messing around with the mounting to get it just right. I got it to work, but it rubbed the chain on both ends of the cassette and was dangerously low clearance before adding the shim.

I recently built a bike and used SRAM Force AXS components. I elected to go with a competitors crankset, mostly for aesthetics. I struggled for 3 months (as did 2 different LBS) getting the front shifting dialed. It inconsistently overshot the big ring, or ground its way up slowly, or landed correctly but never smoothly or quickly. Time and frustration forced me to get a SRAM cranset. Fortunately the 23 model entered the market and the aesthetics were more to my liking. It took only a couple of minutes to adjust and every shift since has been quick and smooth.

Force AXS is 12 speed. The rings on the new Force are narrower, the gap between rings are more narrow, and the teeth differential from small ring to large is only 13, whereas my other rings had a 13 tooth differential. Apparently these differences make all the difference in the world.

That new D2 look is such a stunner! Not only a much needed facelift but you're also getting that trickle down technology from the Red chainrings. The black on black is very stealthy and the sparkle trim is a nice touch. Looking forward to getting these installed and giving a full review soon, I'm sure it won't disappoint.

Very Nice!!

Bought these cranks for an aero bike build, love the design of the one piece chainrings and prefer the darker color of the force d2 compared to the shiny silver Red rings. It's important to check to make sure you have room to move your front derailleur up to accommodate these rings. I had to move mine all the way to get 1mm of clearance between the derailleur cage and big ring.
