Description ProCorsa Goes Pro
The original McKenzie Summit Bibshort has been our best-selling bibshort over the past two years, and for good reason — it delivers exceptional value and excellent performance.
But for those that need the absolute best, ProCorsa decided to raise the bar. Starting with the general design of the McKenzie Summit, ProCorsa selected the highest quality materials they could source to produce a truly premium product.
Introducing the ProCorsa McKenzie Summit Pro Bibshort — designed in Portland, Oregon by folks who bike a lot, and made with top-quality Italian fabrics and chamois.
The core idea behind this bib was to create a garment that could be worn for all-day epics, grueling races, and casual group rides alike.
The name 'McKenzie Summit' pays homage to McKenzie Pass in Central Oregon, a ribbon of tarmac that passes through two old-growth forests and a vast field of volcanic rock that can only be described as lunar-like.
The Pro utilizes a chamois regarded as one of the best chamois pads a boutique manufacturer can buy. It's an Elastic Interface Endurance Anatomic Road HCS Super Air Men's Cycling Pad with ECO X-Tract and a relief cup (yeah - all that). A long title to essentially say it's ergonomic, highly cushioned, and designed to relieve perineal pressure.
For this premium garment, ProCorsa is using an Italian-produced fabric called M.I.T.I. S.P.A. Zaffiro, which is a 4-ways stretch fabric that is soft, quick-drying, breathable, and non-see-through.
The folks at ProCorsa also added a little bit extra inseam length compared to the regular McKenzie Summit — 0.5" to 1.5" depending on size.

Excellent bibs!
by Max Booth

These are extraordinary bibs! They fit great, they feel great. If purchasing at regular price I'm not sure they are worth the extra money compared to the regular Mackenzie Summit bibs, but I also haven't been using them that long, so they may prove to outlast the regular Mackenzie. In any case, excellent product!

Nice quality. Good fit.

This is a nicely made bib - certainly comparable to the Pearl PRO bib I usually wear, but with a bit nicer chamois. The fabric provides nice compression that doesn't loosen up during long rides like some of the less expensive shorts I've owned. Very nice laser cut straps that are plenty stretchy.

Too Tight at end of legs
by Anonymous
Cycling Enthusiast
Tried these due to a good deal offered while buying some other items. They are not bad other than the section at the end of each leg is very, very tight. I ordered small and that has always worked for me with other brands. I am 5' 7" and about 135 lbs. Maybe it will loosen with use?

Nice upgrade to the Summit

I have a couple of pairs of the Summit bibshorts and have been impressed with their quality and comfort, particularly for the price.
The Pro version is a nice step up. The fabric feels a bit softer, while retaining better compression over a long ride. I like the slightly longer leg length. Seems just about perfect now.
The chamois in the regular Summit is quite nice, but this one is even a bit better.

I really wanted to like this product, but the seams that connect the elastic shoulder straps are very uncomfortable against the skin. Returning for refund.
