Simple and very effective

An absolute must have tool for Shimano (DA, Ultegra, etc.) crank users. If you have ever had an extremely difficult time trying to remove the crank bolt on the non-drive side crank arm, then look no further. This tool allows for easy installation and removal of the crank bolt. This can also be used with an Allen key (for extra leverage) for those times when the bolt feels like it has seized. Quality tool made of metal, so it won't strip like some of the existing plastic tools out there. Simple, effective and inexpensive.

I needed to remove my crank to install a power meter. I was surprised at how easy it is with the new bottom brackets. This tool did the trick for my Shimano Ultegra cranks. The wide wing nut design makes it easy to tighten... maybe a little too easy as the cap is supposed to be snug and not cranked down... so watch out for that!

Easy cap removal.

This makes removing caps on shimano cranks a breeze. This is way easier than using a butter knife wrapped in masking tape like I use to use.

I use this product to remove the plug that holds the crank arms onto the crankshaft. It also has a little lip on the tool to flip up the black link that helps secure the removable crank arm. Pretty nifty little tool.
