Description

A clean and well lubed chain is the key to a happy bike.

ProGold ProLink Chain Lube will not let dirt and grit stick to your chain. It works great in wet or dry conditions. It greatly reduces friction and wear, allowing smoother operation of your chain and cables, and it will keep your chain and drive train area clean and seemingly drag free. ProLink is a thin-bodied lubricant that uses MFR (Metal Friction Reducer) technology, a molecule which bonds to the metal surface. It does not build up or become tacky because it contains no solids like Teflon, wax, moly, graphite or plastic. Environmentally friendly, can be shipped air and is made in the USA. 4 oz. drip bottle.

This is an excellent lubricant. It's quite smooth and quiet while not attracting much dirt, grit, and grime on long dusty roads.

Nice light lube which penetrates well and lasts as long as most

I use this on my trainer bike mostly as it doesn't make the mess the longer lasting lube I use on the road does. It lasts long enough for me on the trainer. I don't use it as directed, which is a cleaner first then lube. To me it works fine to wipe the chain down with a towel, then put a drop on each roller then run it through all the gears and then wipe the excess off the chain. When I used it outdoors it would last about a week, or around 200 miles in dry and paved road surfaces. I use it as my rest stop lube on ultra distance gravel rides too and it lasts long enough to get to the next rest stop .

I ride about 120 miles a week and I use the lube once a week on my chain. Shifting has been quick and noiseless.

Great chain lube

This was the first time I ordered this type of chain lube and I immediately became a fan. This lube is much thinner than the other chain lube I used previously (White Lightning Clean Ride) and seems to be much more effective in improving shifting and reducing chain noise. This has become my go-to and I will be buying again soon.

My exclusive lube for all cycling genres. Long lasting with little mess if applied properly (sparingly with using a rag to run excess onto.)

A classic chain lube

I shouldn't have ever gone away from this lube in the first place. Between Mtn biking and commuting, I started using Boeshield about 8 years ago. Boeshield works great on my Mtn Bike, but not so great on my commuter. And since I just bought a new road bike this year, I didn't want the buildup that comes with wax based lubes. So, back to ProGold.

When I used this lube before, I would do a ride and then put this on the chain before I put the bike away. The process that works best is to thoroughly wet the chain and then use paper towels to soak up the excess and rub the chain until the towels come away clean. Anything left evaporates and the chain is ready for the next ride. This every-ride routine has the added benefit of keeping the chain very shiny. The only negative is the smell. Make sure you lube outside of the house and give it at least a couple of hours to gas-off.

Now YMMV, but when I used this lube before, I rarely replaced my commuter bike chains. But since I started using Bowshield on my commuter, I've replaced 2 chains, 1 rear cluster, and 1 chainring. I think I'll start using this on my commuter bike again.

This is the best chain lube I have ever used. Smooth, clean and quite chain. I rarely need to use a chain cleaner as it it's comes out nice and shiny after every application. Best if you can let it sit overnioght.

Nice light lube

Very light. A little goes a long way, just a drop on each link. Noticeably quiets chain noise and improves shifting.

Great in dry weather, lasting several hundred miles. It is less durable in wetter weather.

Ive used many different chain lubes over the years and Progold Prolink is by far the best. This chain lube has great lubrication properties and keeps the chain cleaner for longer.

After I clean my drivetrain I give everything a generous amount of Prolink, work it into the chain and wipe off the excess. Keeps me running smooth.

Easy drip appication. Nozzle is adjustible. Apply one drop per link and wipe any excess. Use every 8 hours of riding.

One of my GO TO chain lubes.

I ride 4-5 times a week and often over 15 hours. Chain lube is very important to me, and I clean my chain after every ride. The ProGold ProLink lube is one of the brands I use regularly and have always been very hapy with the results.

I had been using White Lightening on all my bikes until I switched over to Prolink. I haven't noticed a marked difference compared to WL in performance and increased chain life. I do notice the road crud it tends to attract unlike the lime-based WL that I previously applied.

All around lube

I have been using this lube for over 10 years in year round weather conditions in Minnesota including snow, rain, and hot and cold. I use it sparingly with putting a drop on each link after cleaning chain. I then light wipe off any excess with a rag with a quick rotation of the chain. Overall, my chain remains relatively clean looking andor this lube doesn't pick up excessive dirt or doesn't turn black and dirty looking. I typically clean and relube my chain after about 15 rides or 200 miles or so.
