NiteRider Solas 2 Watt USB Tail Light

This Solas tail light is extremely visible. Several mounting options make it very versatile from seat post, down tube, helmet, seat bag, etc... mounting locations.

Several very unique blinking patterns make the light stand out amidst the urban jungle of lights.

It's nice that it's rechargeable, but I do wish the charge time would last longer. After 4 or 5 days of commuting, the light level drops off a little bit. I find I have to recharge every 2 weeks or so of solid commuting.

I haven't found another light as uniquely visible as this one yet, and I highly recommend it.

This light is rechargable, which in my mind, is good. We use these for daytime visibility and they can be seen for quite a distance. Personally I like the Portland danger zone light better because of it's underover flash pattern. This light provides great visibility, however, and can be seen from a great distance, which it what is the most important factor.

Very very bright to the rear, OK from sides and off angle. A bit heavy but well made. Clips on very securely. Adjustable blink settings are very helpful. Highly recommend.
