Description With the proliferation of deep section aero rims in today's race market, a valve extender is a necessary addition to many tubular tires. Tufo's extension adds 20/28/31/40mm to their existing valve stems (32mm). Unlike a normal extension that slides over the valve, these are "inline" extensions which are placed between the valve stem and the valve core. Simply remove the core from valve stem, thread the extension into the stem, and then thread the valve core into the extension. Rubber o-rings ensure you don't loose any pressure. Packaged individually.
The valve core can be removed by carefully using a pair of needle nose pliers, but for accurate and trouble free removal, it's best to use the Tufo valve tool.
