I use this to commute through the rainy winter in western Oregon, but it's also light enough to act as a wind jacket during the warmer months. It's waterproof but breathable, and enables me to stay dry without overheating me and with proper layering I can get to work without needing a shower. This version has a convenient pocket which works to hold my badge for when I arrive onsite.

I wear it while commuting and for long-distance rides.

I love how bright this jacket shows up when drivers are passing you. One can't be bright enough with current drivers on the road. It's an arrogant color so you can be seen. Even my motorcycle has a very loud muffler so you can be heard! The jacket is definitely water and wind proof with 3m stripes so at night you can be seen. I wish the coller was a little higher.
