Review by AnonymousGood tiresby AnonymousCycling EnthusiastGood tires so far (only have a few hundred miles on them). They're a little thinner than the last 25s I had on the bike. They have a small amount of tread on the sides which is also good in the winter. I actually use Mr. Tuffy liners on my tires too because I hate getting flats. No flats so far. Even though I like these, I'll probably go back to Michelin tires after they're done only because I like a slightly softer tire.

Review by AnonymousDurable training ride tires.by AnonymousCycling EnthusiastFresno, Ca1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.Durable training ride tires. Glass and goat head stickers are the main culprit. The group is not waiting on me, to repair flats!
I might switch to lower rolling resistance tires for events.

Review by Desert FoxSolid Tireby Desert FoxCycling EnthusiastDesert, Ca.1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. I've heard good things about Schwalbe Durano Plus Tire so I decided give them a try, they were on sale at a decent price which was even better. I ride in the Desert where's a lot of thrones and glass. These tires have held
up great one flat in 3,500 miles. I've recommended them to friends now we're all riding the same tires.

Review by jcA great flat resistant tireby jcCycling EnthusiastWestern NYI bought these tires last summer after having flat after flat on the tires that came with my road bike. I have rode on these tires (25's) being as heavy as 300 lbs with no trouble at all! Im know down to around 250 and Im actually afraid to ever go to another tire because these have been so dependable. I ride on some pretty terrible roads up here to.

Review by attoresA good tire for my tandemby attoresCycling EnthusiastChicagoland1 of 2 customers found this review helpful.I'm beyond racing any more, but I like responsive tires on my bikes. The Schwalbe Durano Plus tire in a 700X25 fills the bill for our Calfee tandem. We get good life and good puncture resistance to go with the performance. I also use these tires on single bikes. Using about 90 lbs pressure gives both good ride and good precision steering. All around dependable tire.

Review by NickGreat training tire or rough roadroubaix race tire.by NickCompetitive RacerEugene, OR1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.I've used the Schwalbe tires for commuting for 4 years with great results and love the Durano for an all-season training tire. It's light enough to race if you're riding a roubaix or questionable pavement but really shines for how long they hold up to training miles.

Review by AnonymousBullet proof tiresby AnonymousCycling EnthusiastAmelia Island, FLGot tired of getting flats on my road bike every couple of weeks. Was riding Michelin Krylions and would get flats from small thorns or tiny pieces of glass on a fairly regular basis. Had Schwalbe Marathons on my touring bike with one flat in 8500 miles on two sets of tires so decide to try the Durano Plus 700x23 on my road bike. 2500 miles later I have not had another flat riding the same routes. The tires are a bit heavy so are not made for racing but they are bullet proof. When they wear out I will get another pair.

Review by Fredgreat tireby FredCycling EnthusiastSan DiegoI have been riding daily since I retired in 95. I have gone thru Continental Gatorskins, Vredestein Fortezza Tri Comps, and about 5 yrs ago switched to the Durano Plus tire. I wanted to get more mileage out of a set. I average over 1K per month so I run thru tires quickly. My first set was used on my trip across the U.S. in 07 from Oregon to New Hampshire and the only trouble I had was a sliced tire. I constantly get 4-5 K per tire. I rotate from front to rear with a new one on front.

Review by LTSTHis is a tough tire that is excellent for training.by LTSCycling EnthusiastMetro Detroit1 of 2 customers found this review helpful.I am not a small mountain climber and like durable training tires. This tire has ridden with me through all kinds of rough stuff downed branch pieces after a storm, glass from an auto accident, 103 degree days of riding and it has handled it all with ease.

Review by AnonymousHeavy and slow. Durable. An expensive training tire.by AnonymousCompetitive RacerGresham, OR1 of 7 customers found this review helpful.Even with 110 lbs of air this tire still feels very sluggish. For the price, I think I can find something better next winter for a set of training tires.
