Review by AnonymousGreat by AnonymousCycling EnthusiastNew JerseyMy favorite bibshort is the Pearl Izumi Pro, and if I were independently wealthy I'd buy 4-5 of those and give away the rest. Unfortunately I've gotta pay the mortgage so decided to try out this kit, which costs maybe 2/3 as much. Chamois is very comfortable - it seems to have an inner center that's slightly thicker than the edge, which works to provide needed support in the most sensitive regions without bunching up anywhere else. Shoulder straps are smooth, with no ribbing or edge that could dig into your skin.
Based on other reviews I ordered the large (I'm 5'9"/~175lbs), which fits well in most places but seems a bit tight around my (average for a cyclist) thighs. Also I can feel the shoulder straps tugging on my shoulders -- not uncomfortably but enough to know they're there, which is not true for my favorite bibshort.
I'll save the PI Pro for the half-century or longer rides, but I'm happy to have this alternative for when my favorite is in the wash.

Review by FL bikerDisappointing bibshortby FL bikerCycling EnthusiastFlorida4 of 4 customers found this review helpful.I'm 5'10' and 170# and a 5,000 mil-a-year rider with over 100,000 lifetime miles on the road. Bib shorts are crucial to my comfort and riding experience, and these ProCorsa bids fell far short of my expectations, given the overwhelmingly good reviews. Here's my experience: Size wise I fall between a M and L, so I ordered two pair of the McKenzie bibs in M. The leg length was roughly 2' too short for me yet the band was still a bit too loose, although my thighs are rather muscular. I found the seat pad to be far too thin too. On the positive, the quality of the bib material was silky yet lighter than I expected and the build quality seemed good. I returned one pair for a refund, but since I used the other on a 40-mile ride I guess I wasted nearly $100 for a pair of bibs that I consider basically unusable.

Review by Mikey P.Great fit & comfortable - will buy again!by Mikey P.Cycling EnthusiastLehigh Valley, PA3 of 3 customers found this review helpful.I recently purchased the McKenzie Bibshort at a great price when they were the Daily Deal - and I'm glad that I did! Fortunately, I read the other reviews which caution that the bibs do run on the small side. I'm 6'-0", 200 lbs, 34" waist, 21" dia thighs, and a longer torso (I wear pants with a 32" inseam). I ordered the size XL, which fits great and, so far, have been quite comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair. Thank you Western BikeWorks!

Review by CgrotzExcellent bibs for the moneyby CgrotzSouthern Cal6 of 6 customers found this review helpful.I bought several pairs of the first generation of bib shorts, because they were the best value and had the best features in this price range. The third generation has improvements that make it even better. The laser cut straps are snug and very comfortable (no sagging). The back of the bib is better ventilated and significantly cooler for hot weather rides. The new chamois has an excellent fit and a slight improvement over the first generation. The third generation has fewer panels, but the compression and fit is still outstanding for bibs in this price range. I've been able to squeeze years out of the first generation shorts and hope to do the same with the third generation shorts. I believe these bibs are the best value by far in this price range.

Review by Massachusetts BikerComfortable Bibsby Massachusetts BikerCycling EnthusiastCentral Massachusetts.5 of 6 customers found this review helpful.I just got these and used them for the first time for a two and a half hour pain cave session on Zwift. I must admit they held up well. There was no bunching of the chamois, the size was advertised and the straps did not bind or dig in. There is only one thing I don't like, but this is more personal preference and not a negative on the product, and that is the length of the shorts. I like my shorts just a little longer than what these are. The shorts I wear cover 3/4 of the thigh to knee. These shorts cover about 2/3 of the thigh. Not a deal breaker.

Review by RickDoesn't get better than this for under $200by RickCompetitive RacerTucson, AZ3 of 4 customers found this review helpful.Big improvement over McKenzie 2. Latest version is better than the original which I preferred to 2. The bibstraps are now fairly soft laser-cut straps that are placed far enough apart on the front that they don't rub against my nipples while riding. That makes me a happy camper.
Excellent chamois (looks like one of the better Elastic Interface chamois). Nice quality fabric and a rolled leg cuff.

Review by ScottStoefImpressed so far; longevity is the keyby ScottStoefIndianapolis, IndianaThis is my second pair of Pro Corsa bib shorts. I don't think you can get anything better for the price. The multi panel design really supports the muscles, yet the are still light enough to breathe well. I have not had them long enough to assess the longevity. I like to get 5-7 years out of a pair so we will see.

Review by ChrisImpressedby ChrisBentonville AR1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. This is my first pair of ProCorsa bibs. Historically I've been Pearl Izumi pro. They are comfortable for all the rides I do, generally 20 to 50 mile road and gravel. I have no doubt they would carry me beyond. I will say at 6ft 2in and 195 pounds, I did need the XL to get the torso length needed. Will buy again.

Review by jeffthese keep getting worse.by jeffCycling Enthusiastthis is my 3rd pair and everyone seems to be getting worse. I will not get a 4th pair. I bought them on the deal of the day for 1/2 price but even that is probably more than they are worth. they run way small. I am 5'9" and even in an XL the straps are way too short.

Review by MaavenUpdate on ProCorsa Men's McKenzie Bibshortby MaavenCycling EnthusiastHudson Valley, NYI've purchased 3 pairs of these shorts since last year and have been using them exclusively for the last month (3x/week) here in Florida. They are comfortable and fit me well, but newer ones may be undersized: No chafing or other problems with the generous pad. As I wrote in an earlier review, these are great bib shorts for the money, especially when they're on sale.

Review by OR_bikerFairly comfortable and decent valueby OR_bikerDaily CommuterPortland, OR5 of 5 customers found this review helpful.Picked these up on the Daily Special a few months ago and have liked them. Wouldn't want them at full price, but definitely competitive with other bibs I've bought for a similar amount. Chamois is good, nice and flat, doesn't have all the weird contours that can cause irritation if things aren't in the exact right place. Good amount of padding without feeling too thick. I have had this pad shift on me enough to get a little uncomfortable, but that seems to be only if I've gotten off the bike and moved around a bit. On the bike it's never been an issue. So as long as you make sure everything is good after a coffee stop or fixing a puncture it should be fine.
I'm around 6'2, 205 lbs, got an XL. The fit is pretty good, I actually like bibs to be quite snug so feel like I could have gotten away with a L, but the XL isn't bad and I still get good compression in the legs. I would prefer the legs be another inch or so longer but they're not the shortest I've tried. I really like the bands at the base of the leg. The silicone grippers that many brands use can irritate my skin after a couple hours so I like that there's none of that on these. I also have XL bibs from Sportful and DeMarchi. The ProCorsa's seem similar to the DeMarchi in fit, with the Sportful being noticeably more snug. When I've had Pearl Izumi in the past I could easily get away with a L, I felt between L and XL with Gore, so I'd say these fit smaller than PI and Gore while being looser than Sportful or especially Castelli. Of course, this depends on the style of bib you're getting, more race-style or "aero" cuts will likely be tighter for each brand.
