I bought a Kask Mojito a few years ago based on the high recommendation of my bike mechanic who is also a friend. From day one that helmet clearly was outstanding on every front. It was light in weight, comfortable on my head, had plenty of vents to keep my head cool, and did not slip or slide around once in place and adjusted. In December 2018 while riding my bike I was hit by a car who made a left turn into my bike lane as I was descending at 50 mph. I rode smack into his passenger side door, my carbon fiber Trek broke in two and I was thrown off landing on my back breaking eight ribs, left scapula, shoulder, left jaw, five front teeth and suffering a concussion. My lungs also collapsed. The ambulance rushed me to a trauma center where I stayed in the ICU for one week. The surgeon told me my helmet saved me from suffering extensive head trauma. Two months later I was ready to get back on my bike but I had thrown away my Kask Mojito and needed a new one so I found my size Small at Western Bikes. The only difference is that it is the Mojito X but I love it just like my first Mojito. Currently Im in Japan on a 12 day bike journey from Izumi Kagoshima to Kyoto. My Kask Mojito x is with me!

This helmet is the replacement for the protone helmet . I would recommend this helmet or any of the kask helmet for safety and style.. price is not a concern to have such a quality product.. this is 3rd one because of crashes and will not wear anything less .. 5 star rated by me .

It's lightweight, safe, and fits me great. I like the leather chin strap and the helmet vents great. I keep it in the box when not in use to avoids scuffs and damage. Replace after crashing or a hard drop, as with any road helmet.

Fits great, the helmet is light and comfortable.

I bought this helmet while waiting for a replacement retention strap for Catlike Whisper Deluxe helmet that I've been using for most of the year. The Mojito is more comfortable (for me) than the latter and both the retention system and chin strap are higher quality. The retention system is quite easy to adjust with a single hand, which could come in handy if, say, your head expands after being hit by a poison dart in the middle of your ride. Despite the added comfort, the Catlike's airflow seems better and I'll likely still use it on hotter days, but overall the Mojito is a superior hat.

Road Cycling. Like how it fits and don't slide around on my head and no pressure points

Over the years Ive had many road cycling helmets, Ill admit its my first Kask helmet, but certainly not my last. Im shocked by the fit & comfort with respect to the mechanics that enable the helmet to fit without sliding around. Ive already decided next helmet(color) will be a Kask! Very impressed with this product.

Great overall helmet with a fair amount of padding to ensure a comfortable fit. Dial adjustment system and a leather chin strap add a touch of class as well as a secure fit. Did I mention that this helmet is also comfortable...

Most Giro's and Bell's don't fit my head too well, they are too round. Specialized and Kask fit great, I would say more for an oval shaped head. This Mojito fits great and is constructed really well with the inner foam being wrapped by a polycarbonate plastic even at the underside edges, which means it's durable and can survive the knocks of everyday life, on and off the bike.

I bought this because Kask doesnt make Vertigo any more. That model fit my rounder head. The fit here is similar. I like the leather straps. The rear locking system is adjustable, but not as nice as Vertigo. Overall I think the helmet is very nice and excellent value.

I have two Mojito helmets. I use a large size and it fits perfect. The adjustments are easy to set and it is a good looking helmet. It isn't bulky. Very happy with it!

Not sure how the dent in back appeared, possibly fell off a shelf. Regardless, a twist on the rear knob and I felt something give. I see it has a huge crack on the inside rear molding. Not as tough as my cheapo Giro which has been dropped a bunch of times.

Very nice fitting helmet and very well ventilated. I have used this past weekend on a metric century and almost forgot it was there. The weather was very warm and humid but had no problem with sweat dripping in my eyes. Very nice leather chin strap also.

Love the fit and quality of the mojito. interior lining is comfortable, and chin strap feels and looks great. Price dropped after I bought it and Western gave me a credit. Nice.

Allows for easy adjustment and perfect fit - stays in adjustment! Comfortable! BTW I think casco is Italian for helmet, from which kask is derived.

This helmet is light weight and enjoyable to wear for long periods of time.

this helmet literally saved my life on july 11,2020. while bombing down a hill with a friend at about 35 mph, he and i both went down. he fell to the left, and i went to the right. i'd be more descriptive, but all i remember is waking up in the hospital about 13 hours later. anyway, i was knocked out, no doubt from the right side of my helmet scraping along the asphalt. i had a really cool black eye, and the side of my face was red and purple. my wife told me later," i'm so glad you had that helmet on, otherwise i'm pretty sure you would be dead" the helmet itself is of course unusable now, with several cracks in it. i'll take that anyday. i wound up with 7 broken ribs, a broken collar bone, a broken shoulder blade, and a collapsed lung. so, thanks Kask for making such a great helmet. it not only looks great, it performs exceptionally well. i'll be replacing this one with another one just like it.
