They look good and they last, I have 3 pairs and they are still like new after 5 years. Just throw them in the washer and they're come out like new. Good cushioning and good tactile feel.
When I switched from straight bars to drop bars I felt I needed more padding for my palms. I decided to give the Giro Tessa gel gloves a try. I already had the Tessa gloves and liked the fit and velcro closure on the back rather than front (like another brand). While the fit is still great, there is not as much padding as I thought there would be. I ride roughly one to one and a half hours at a stretch so I don't know how my hands will feel after a really long ride. I would definitely recommend these to the casual rider or someone who rides short to moderate distances.
Very comfortable - good fit - I have very small hands and the small finally fits without gaping around the finger holes.
And for those of you gals who are serious about cycling but still appreciate a good looking kit ) these match perfectly with the Giro Espada road shoes and Giro Ionos Helmet (i purchased the whitegray color combo).
The mesh material on the glove upper is nice and breathable - perfect for air circulation during the hot summer months. And the microfiber wiping surface is an added bonus.
Th only thing I wish they had is a little thicker padding at the palm.
