Due to a recent operation on my foot, I was not been able to get my foot into my more traditional thinner and firmer shoes. This shoe is slightly wider, has a soft upper and has a little more room in the toe box, as well as the midfoot. While the laces may be a drawback to some people, it offered me the flexibility that my post operation foot needed. The Rumble offered me flexibility and comfort when more traditional shoes restricted my riding. The reasonable cost of the Rumble was also a major selling point. Although "walking" comfort has never been a priority to me, this shoe is comfortable when off the bike and has changed my perspective on this point. While the restrictions due to the operation caused me to purchase this shoe, I found that the comfort, flexibility and reasonable cost justify that this shoe will remain as my primary cycling foot wear for some time.

This is a very nice shoe. It's a bit snug, as all cycling shoes and clothing seem to be, but that is better than loose.
Giro is known for quality products so I'm not at all worried about durability. And style? Dude, these are sharp!
Overall, very happy with my Giro Rumble VR shoes.

This is the third pair of these shoes that I have purchased. I find them very comfortable, both for riding and walking. Great value at this price!

I had a pair of Giro Rumbles before, but they wore out after a few years of hard use. So, I was happy to find them again at Western Bike Works for a good price. They fit me well, with the pressure point at exactly the right spot on my foot. They say they are MTB shoes, but I use them on my road bike, because even with SPD cleats on you can walk without slipping.

I purchased these thinking that I'd only use them while riding. It turns out that I'm wearing them more than I thought I would and not just for riding. They are a good entry level shoe, light weight and very well made. No issues or concerns with these shoes. Size does run true. I wear normally a size 11 and bought the Euro size 45.

These shoes replaced a pair of entry level Sidi MTBs that I had been commuting year round on for several years. I wish I would have switched a long time ago. I was shocked at how comfortable these shoes are both on and off the bike. They may be some of the most comfortable casual walking shoes I own. I often leave them on at work.
I use these with Crankbrothers cleats and I've had no interference issues. The cleat shims are definately needed and make sure to use the short cleat screws that come with the shoes. The typical cleat screws are way too long and will poke the bottom of your feet.
I've also taken these on longer rides and had no trouble with hot spots or numbness. Not as rigid as the Sidis but much more comfortable to walk in. These shoes have mesh uppers so your feet are going to get wet during the rainy season.

Used for casual short trips. Use platform pedals, the sole is flexible and you can feel the pedal on small mountain bike type pedals.

I bought these after returning some shoes by Chrome that looked cool, but didnt function well. These are great. Theyre comfortable, and work well without too much movement inside the shoe. The cleats are recessed and on very smooth ground (wood floors, smooth concrete) they dont make any noise, but they do crunch or click on very uneven ground like rough concrete.

Went one size up to allow for two pair of socks, worked well as the shoe has ample room in the toe box. Started using the shoe in November with ambient temps in the 35 range. Will see how they work during Michigan winters. Very happy with my purchase!

Laces are better than clips. Stylish and practical.

Comfortable, walkable, one full size up from your sneaker size. I were a size 13 in sneakers. I first tried the 47 size, returned those for the 48 size. This shoe are not a novelty, very functional. Mesh toe area for breathability. The only challenge is to clip in, a little hard at first. Once you get used to lining up, one firm press and your in, an easy twist and your out. I used this shoe for the first time with a child carrier on my front handle bar and child carrier behind my seat. The three of us had great time in Montreal, so much fun.

I love this shoe for mellowing around the neighborhood with kids and pulling my young one in a trailer. And good for walking off the bike.

I use this shoe when running bike errands or going anywhere where a stop-and-walk is likely. The sole is stiff enough to enjoy the benefits of clipless pedals yet quiet and comfortable enough to move around the store/restaurant/coffee shop.

I've been riding with this shoe on my 29er for local trail rides around Portland (Powell Butte, Forest Park) as well as more aggressive (lots of elevation) trails on the south side of Mt. St. Helens. The shoe is comfortable and seems like it was made to last. HELPFUL TIP I purchased the Dress Blue color. On the website, there are three images of the blue version of this shoe but two of them have really bad color accuracy (namely the images of bottom view and side view). The only image that accurately represents the blue color is the topside view.

I looked all over for a well made bike shoe which would work with toe clips. I'm old school (73) and all my bikes (8) have toe clips. These shoes are true to size. My feet are a size 10 and the Euro 44 fit them perfectly. They are also comfortable to walk in. The toe box is short enough to slip into my pedals' deep toe clips easily. The sole is stiff enough to give good efficiency to the pedaling effort. If I ever slip over to the dark side, the shoes accommodate cleats. What's not to like. I highly recommend them. I am a bike enthusiast, not a rabid mountain biker (too old). On the road, they're great. The price is also more than reasonable. No Ricky Racer stuff here.

Riding an Ecatrike recumbent due to old age. Century rider 50+yrs. Now? Too old, 80!
Never like bike shoes that slipped and slide walking around.
Can afford any choice. Long search for a good, not awesome, shoes. Due to large weight loss, 90lbs, tried 12 instead of 13 (47). Three rides later toe rub. Sadly tossed 12s. AND bought same shoe 13! Not sexy race look BUT "Function follows Form"!
Put shoes on load trike, drive 20, 30, 40 miles then start ride Sacramento Valley. Wear all day, NO slipping, comfortable, and nice looking.
