Like these high tops for extra protection of sand, dirt, mud. Also somewhat water resistant.

Comfortable and waterproof

I actually do not use these on a bicycle. I'm not a mountain biker but I used to be and I used to always ride the flat pedals with 510 shoes. I wanted a pair of these boots because I ended up using my 510 shoes for hiking and all kinds of things like that. They are light and they are comfortable and waterproof and just the thing when it's not winter but a little bit of chill is in the air.

I had to dip my feet in the creek and these shoes kept my feet and socks dry as promised. Would recommend these shoes.
