The fastest rolling MTB tire I have tried. Even faster rolling that a Maxxis Aspen or RR. However, it takes some skill to get it to hook-up. On loose, it's the sketchiest tire I've ridden. If you are ridding anything technical, this tire requires considerable focus.

Used all summer last year in MI - even handles "light" mud no problems. Super chunky rocks, slop?

Great Value ...lacks real grip but makes up for it with exceptional rolling capabilities.

These tires do what they were designed to do. They are light and fast. Grip is more than sufficient despite the small size of the knobs. They installed easy and hold air without any sealant seepage. In addition to that they are less expensive than the other brand of tires i also use. This has become my go to race tire.

I'm using these tires on my ibis DB nine mostly for gravel riding. They're fantastic they're super light they hold air well I've had no problems with punctures and for a small tire with small knobs they've got a lot of grip even in the loose stuff.

Sooo the Race King is fast, like you can feel its faster than Maxxis stock tires on 2021 Giant Anthem - period. BUT they don't have the tread for slop or loose stuff - you kind fly through it. If you need to change direction or grip hard - best to surf the slide. still fast is fast and I would take the speed over control or short track racing.

I use these tires on my bikepacking rig. They roll fast on hard pack and got a good grip when the terrain demands it. They are also very light at only 580gr while the Vittoria Mezcal 2.35 on my MTB weighs 730 gr, that 150gr difference is significant when weight counts.

I used these tires years ago and started using others - but came to realize these are better than other types of tires I've used - so I went back

Rides well on gravel but does not perform well on wet pavement or loose rock.
