Review by St. Paul RiderQuality tireby St. Paul RiderCasual CyclistSt. Paul, Minn.0 of 1 customers found this review helpful. My daughter wanted to get away from the agressive treaded tires that she had on her bike. These are wonderful. They are very well made and roll easy. I thought what we got for the price was exceptional. The size we purchased was 26x1.75

Review by SCW2742 miles still look newby SCWCycling EnthusiastN W OhioNo flats after 2700 miles. Very little road noise. These are very durable tires. I rotate them every 700 miles or so. There is some rolling resistance on my Trek Verve3, but they are so durable I can overlook that. Traction on sand and loose gravel is minimal, but I don't ride on those surface much anyway. I am a 210 LB rider and will definitely buy these again....if they ever wear out.

Review by GeraldWorks well for my needs.by GeraldDaily CommuterMinneapolis1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.I am using the Continental City Ride for my 11 mile commute on a paved surface. I like the smooth riding tread. I set the tires at 70 pounds for my 200 lbs and this may be the 5-bar max for the tire. No issues so far but I've not put many miles on yet.

Review by eddyhNot puncture resistant!by eddyhCycling EnthusiastTunhannock, PA2 of 2 customers found this review helpful.I bought this tire in the hopes that it would help the fight against road debris but it didn't help. Got a flat within weeks of using it. Easy to mount just not puncture resistant.

Review by oldcyclistA good working tire!by oldcyclistCycling EnthusiastNW North Carolina1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.I purchased the 30mm City Rides by Continental in anticipation of our up coming tour around Lake Champlain and into Montreal. We had 35mm City Rides on the tandem before, but, I guess I was hoping for a little more speed! The ride is stiffer with the narrower tires, I really can't tell much difference in the speed on the courses that we ride regularly. We live in Northwest NC so it is pretty hilly. Really, I think I like the 35mm tires better. Half bike users will not be disappointed in either tire for rough commuting.

Review by OldcyclistGreat Tandem tire!!!by OldcyclistCycling EnthusiastNorthwest North CarolinaWe installed 35mm wide on our tandem. Ride is smooth rolling and great cornering! These tires are lighter than the ones they replaced. We have put over 500 miles on them so far and no problems at all. No punctures, and they handle dirt roads and pavement very well. We are building up another tandem and we will try the 32mm wide and see how it goes. Our bike originally came with 28mm wide tires, nothing but problems. Punctures, and cornering was tricky on the skinnier tires. For us, a tandem team, me at 175, my wife at 125, the wider tires are the way to go. They just handle better, these Conti's ride great and we have tried 3 other brands, Michelin, Vittoria, and Panracer. I am looking forward to riding the 32mm for the weight savings, it may be the way to go!

Review by Anonymousan excellent compromise tire for the road biker on occasional dirt roadsby Anonymous3 of 3 customers found this review helpful. The tire is an excellent compromise for the road bike rider that occasionally rides a dirt road. Good rolling resistance and I have had no flats on roads that my road bikes would not survived.

Review by OldcyclistGreat tandem tire!by OldcyclistCycling EnthusiastNorthwest, NC6 of 6 customers found this review helpful.Purchased these to go on our tandem. They were an improvement over the wider panaracer tires that we had on before. Note the panaracers held up for a few thousand miles. These tires roll well, and handle gravel roadsrail trail conditions no problem. We ride mostly on the road and they roll easy and corner well. We broke them in on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the roads were damp. We had no problems and are now close to a thousand miles in on these tires. They look good, roll good, and corner well. What do you want?

I run a hard tail with the front fork locked all the time and have found the tires to be very smooth compared to he 3 previous brands I had on this bike and same usage over the past 2 years.

Review by Flash2011Very durable, high quality tireby Flash2011Cycling EnthusiastOakland, ca6 of 7 customers found this review helpful.I've got several hundred miles on a pair of these on my Dutch bike, and I've only had one flat on the rear. The front tire still has the mold line dead center of the tire tread! So not even noticeable wear so far. They are a harsh feeling tire at their max pressure of 80lbs, I run 50-60 lbs and at that pressure they are pretty smooth. I deducted that one star because the flat I had was a small piece of glass that did not even appear to go through the casing. Not as bombproof as Armadillos for sure, but I think a great value for the price as they will last a good long while.

Review by dmillerGood value, tough tireby dmillerCompetitive RacerBoise, ID, USA42 of 43 customers found this review helpful.I commute 173 miles a week,45 weeks a year. I weigh 150lbs and carry a 10 to 15lb pannier. I use these tires as they seem to minimise flats related to puncture vine goat heads, glass and road debris. I experience about 2 to 3 flatsyear which is quite good considering the miles ridden and no other flat prevention methods no slime or tire liners are used. The rear tire lasts 3500 miles, while the front lasts about 6000 to 8000miles. My only gripe is that the reflective sidewall is no longer sold state side at least not that I have found. I would highly recommend these tires everyone.
