Review by AnonymousVery good cool weather glove choiceby AnonymousCycling EnthusiastCleveland, OHWhen temps range from the lower 40s into the 50s the insulation and dexterity of the Perfetto ROS glove is an ideal choice. It is warm enough to take the bite out cold winds, form-fitting without being too tight, and resists water should you get caught in a bit of rain. It won't be your glove of choice in freezing conditions, but it doesn't make that claim. Castelli has other options then. I'd give it a 5 if there was a tad bit more cushion against the bars for those long days in the saddle... but that being said, it's still a comfortable glove.

Review by Anonymousa warm snug comfortable fit while feeling thinby AnonymousCycling EnthusiastStillwater, MN, United StatesInitially you may think these are too small but they are a very comfortable snug fit that allows you to forget you have gloves on. almost feel like neoprene but not sweaty warm, they seem to breath well. I am from the tundra of MN and have worn them in the 30-50 degree range and they work great. I was concerned given the thin feel may be cold but they are not. there is still snow on the ground and the wind is still blowing but they have been great. have allowed me to use my phone while still on which is nice but like many spring/winter gloves the fingers are not as good as no gloves but manageable. I've been happy and so far no stretching which I worried some about.

Review by Anonymousindex finger way too long, doesn't work with touchscreens, otherwise okayby AnonymousCycling Enthusiastthese are okay for chili weather rides, most useful in the high 40s to low 60s. below that and my fingertips get cold and need to go to my lobster gloves from PI. Annoying that the index finger is at least a half inch too long, but I can get over that. What sucks more is that the supposed touchscreen compatible index and thumb pads don't work at all with phone touchscreens, so require me to take the gloves off to do anything w/ my phone while riding. Annoying.

Review by mwyckoffNice Gloves, Weird Fingersby mwyckoffCycling EnthusiastPortlandWould be 5 stars if the fingers fit better. Index finger is too long, others feel too short; maybe I have weird finger shapes? Great gloves otherwise.

Review by lpmcwillMy go-to glove for rides when the temperature ranges from the mid-30s to mid-50s.by lpmcwillCycling EnthusiastHumboldt, CA2 of 3 customers found this review helpful. My 10-year-old Campy full fingered gloves started coming apart this winter so I looked for something similar. I like Castelli's CDS pad layout (I have a couple pair of their Corsa Rossa gloves) so the Perfetto looked promising. I've worn them on every ride except one unusually warm day since Christmas. Every Castelli apparel I have is sized large (I'm 5'9, 160 pounds) where in US companies (e.g., PI, Hincapie) I take a medium. On one hand, I'm looking forward to a warmer Spring where I can shed a layer and get back to half-finger gloves. On the other hand, the Perfetto's are great. I hope they last as long as my old Campy's.

Review by ChrisBreaks the wind!by ChrisCompetitive RacerMenlo Park, CA2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. This is my new favorite pair of cycling gloves. I was looking for a lighter glove that would break the wind but not make my hands overly hot. Here in Coastal Cali it doesn't get as cold and found this pair has been perfect for me for the 38-50F range.

Review by AnonymousDecent pair of fall/spring glovesby AnonymousCycling EnthusiastPortlandMy hands don't tolerate cold well (Raynaud's). So I have to use lobsters with a liner in anything below 45 degrees. These cover me pretty well from 50 to 55, 45 to 50 with a very thin liner. They get a bit moist inside if it's too warm.
One issue is the length of the fingers. I have another pair of Castelli full-finger gloves (XXL) that fit, well, like a glove on my size 8 to 8.5 mitts. The Perfetto is an XL and extends off my fingertips between 5 and 10mm. The silicone grips are nice. Haven't tried them in the rain yet - but work well in a mist/fog situation.

Review by Wilburbud2Terrific Cool Weather Gloveby Wilburbud2Cycling EnthusiastMount Kisco, NYThis is my fourth pair of Castelli gloves and I'm very satisfied. They replaced a six year old pair of Scaldas, and the Perfettos are a real improvement. The have the right amount of cushioning, are easy to get on and off, and the fit is spot on. There so many options when it comes to cycling gloves, but I've been loyal to Castelli because the products always deliver and therefore the price is justified. If you're looking for a glove that will work well from high 40's to mid 50's this is the one.

Review by KayentaLoverA great cool-weather cycling glove!by KayentaLoverCycling EnthusiastSouthwest UtahNeeded a glove for riding on 40-60 degree days, with occasional rain. My hands get cold quite easily, but these gloves have kept then comfortable when riding for several hours in temps down on the low 40's. And they do this while being very comfortable and affording excellent dexterity. Palms are slightly tacky and make gripping handlebars, brake hoods and water bottles a snap.
It's a bit of a struggle to don them, but that allows the cuffs to fit easily inside even snug jacket sleeves.

Review by SpotShotGreat productby SpotShotCycling EnthusiastSeattle, WABought these for my husband after using the women's version. These are perfect for temps above high 40's - low 60's. They are flexible, comfortable, and provide good wind protection. They breathe well.

Review by 200milerVery nice gloves with one disappointmentby 200milerCasual Cyclistupstate New York1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. They fit very well with good tactile feel thru the fingers. My disappointment was the lack of any wind protection for the back of the hands and fingers. Cold air/wind seem to cut right thru and turn your fingers/hands [mine anyways] ice cold, I suffer my 30+ years of sun/ozone exposure doing long distance races [double centuries and up] during which I never wore any gloves. Living in NCal and NV for this period contributed to my particular issue. Living now in upstate NY exacerbates my current hand issue.
Save for temperature variations I would still buy them.

Review by AnonymousSized for narrow hands and long fingersby AnonymousCycling Enthusiast1 of 2 customers found this review helpful.I purchased large and exchanged for medium. I vary between medium and large. The fingers are too long even for the medium yet require some effort to get on the hand. Once on - and with a little bit of break in time - they are comfortable for the ride. The problem is they can be very difficult to remove if the hands sweat. They stick. I've even had to have my partner pull them off with two hands. That makes them difficult to remove mid-ride.
I will continue to use them though. Once on the hand, the keep fingers warm enough in 50F ambient temp. Grip is good on handlebars. The screen touch tips are useless.

Review by [email protected]I Like ALotWorks great at keeping my hands warm and dry in temperatures above 40 F. Can change gears easily. Would definitely recommend. Size seems about normal. I ordered a medium which is about right compared to other gloves I've purchased.

Review by AnonymousReally nice feel and comfortableby AnonymousCycling EnthusiastWinston Salem, NC1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. My first Castelli glove, and I am impressed. Sizing chart was correct and it fits great - snug on the fingers without a lot of extra space at the tips for me. Got it on sale as an added bonus.

Review by GA RiderAlmost Perfettoby GA RiderMetro Atl0 of 1 customers found this review helpful. These are comfortable but mo Perfetto. The description says windproof but I wore them on a day in low 50's and my hands got cold and i could definitely feel the wind.
However, I'm a little cold prone, so these will probably be comfortable to others if not prone to cold. Good fit although the index finger was a little long.

Review by silicon farmboyFor narrow handsby silicon farmboyCycling EnthusiastCentral Valley CAMy hands vary in gloves between medium and large. I started with large and the fingers were too long. I returned for the medium. I can barely fit my hands into the medium gloves and still the fingers are too long. Also the phone touch surface on thumb and forefingers don't work and came out frayed.
