Road cyclist. I am 6' and 180 lbs. Bought a LXL, but it was too tight. The mesh gave my skin a waffle appearance. It could use a bit more give or flexibility. I have an old Defeet base layer which is much more comfortable.
I use this as a cold-weather base layer, piling on a short or long sleeve jersey on over it with a cycling jacket over that, layering as the temperature dictates. The size as is the case with everything Castelli: runs a couple sizes smaller than what I'm used to. The material is a mesh which is perfect for layering. It's a quick wash and dry (don't put velcro closures in with the wash, they like sticking to the jersey). Since I just bought this, I haven't tried the intended purpose of cool summer riding; but will do so in the coming months.
I have the older version of this and loved it, so I bought another one. The material changed quite a bit and is not as comfortable. It is still a very good under layer, especially for when it is warmer weather.
It fits a bit small, so go up a size. I am 61 and 190 and got an XL. I probably should have gone with an XXL.
Still a good product.
FIRST TIME I BOUGHT A CORE SHIRT...THE PROBLEM I SEE IS IT COMES ONLY SM or LXL...I REALLY NEED AN M .
IT GOES ON VERY TIGHT AND I NEED HELP TO TAKE IT OFF...IT REALLY IS SKIN TIGHT ON MY 62 KILO 5'7 SKINNY FRAME....I'D BUY A REAL MEDIUM BUT IT DOESN'T EXIST IN CASTELLI (MY FAVORITE BRAND)
