I'm not a rider who is overly discerning on the manifold bar tape offerings available. That said, as the owner of 3 drop bar bikes I do retapes frequently. The Arundel product seems to meet my needs. A nice tactile sensation.

Ok, so I know tape does not last forever. When I went to replace the cables on my road bike, I unwrapped the top half of my bars to get to the brifters. The tape seemed a bit thin and worn. It was the original Arundel tape that came on the bike when I bought it new. I had to think a moment and did quick math. 10 years. Average 5000 mi per yr or more. So after 50,000 mi give or take decided it was time to replace it. With the exact same tape. Here's to another 50,000 miles!

I ride a 30 year old Vitus that I built in 1990. Love the feel of cork and I like yellow but it is getting harder to get yellow Cinelli yellow cork so I thought I would try this. Feels good not as bright as Cinelli but still looks good on my bike.

The tape applied well, but ended about 2 inches short of the stem. I ride a 40cm carbon aero bar. I've forgotten what brand.

I love this tape, it has replaced Cinelli cork as my go to tape. It is very durable, the taper to the bar tape allows it to easily be wrapped so you get a smooth flat surface to run your hands over.
