Zipp Tangente Course R28 and R30 Clincher Tires

The Zipp Tangente Course R28 and R30 Clincher Tires are race-ready training tires designed to conquer rough roads, chewing up bumps from the pavement and poorly maintained surfaces and pushing you further down the road.

Wider than the traditional race tire, Zipp has accepted the research that shows a wider tire at lower volume is actually faster than a narrower tire, as it conforms around irregularities and adds increased contact during cornering. With the minimal tread pattern, Zipp designed these tires to shed water and maintain grip, even on wet days on windy roads.

The Zipp Tangente Course R28 measured 28mm wide, while the Zipp Tangente Course R30 measures 30mm wide. 120 TPI casing. Claimed weight: 306g (R30), 260g (R28).
