Why sacrifice comfort and performance just because it's training session? With the Zipp Tangente Course R28 and R30 Clincher Tires are race-ready training tires meant to eat up pavé and cobbles with their wider-than-average design. With more and more research that shows that wider tires inflated to lower pressures are faster than the traditional 23 or even 25mm tires, Zipp decided to offer a wide tire to provide comfort and control for training, as well as performance and traction during races.
The Zipp Tangente Course R28 measured 28mm wide, while the Zipp Tangente Course R30 measures 30mm wide. 120 TPI casing. Claimed weight: 306g (R30), 260g (R28).
