Description

The redesigned Service Course SL Seatpost is a new carbon post from Zipp, specifically tuned to be more shock-absorbing than the "comfort" seatposts on the market, while still passing their strict internal MTB strength test. The carbon tube is mated to a two-bolt 7050 aluminum head for precise and secure saddle adjustments.

Better fit means better performance, and if your saddle is out of position, you'll waste energy with every pedal stroke. The secure, two-bolt clamp makes for easy micro-adjustments of saddle position, and the head has been redesigned for maximum bolt head accessibility. With 0mm and 20mm setback options, it's possible for nearly any rider to achieve the perfect fit, and the clamp works with all saddle rail types.

Features:

  • 25.4, 27.2, and 31.6mm diameter.
  • 400mm length.
  • 0mm or 20mm setback.
  • 7.0Nm torque for saddle rails.
  • 100mm minimum insertion length.
  • Unidirectional Carbon / AL-7050 head.
  • Weight: 249g (20mm setback).

Cannondale Fit Savior!

I needed a zero offset seatpost that would fit a carbon Cannondale Synapse, and this was the unicorn that saved my bike fit. Not only that, but it's proved to be comfortable, durable, and handsome piece of kit on the bike. I recommend this to anyone who needs a carbon zero offset post that doesn't break the bank!

I bought it for increased comfort over aluminum. Is it? I think so. Cheaper than Cannondale C2 but still expensive

Not robust enough for hard use.

It worked well for about a year of very hard riding on every type of surface from smooth pavement to rough single track. In that year over 3,000 miles of mostly gravel in the Rockies and Midwest were covered. The clamp that holds the saddle cracked and bent. Fortunately I caught it before it broke. I use a torque tool when tightening.

Great zero offset 25.4 mm post for Cannondale

I needed a nice zero offset post in the harder to find 25.4 mm dia. for my 2018 Cannondale Synapse and this post fit the bill perfectly!! Quality is great, the ride is just as comfortable as the original SAVE carbon post, and zero offset lets me get into my preferred position on the bike! Im sure the offset version would be just as excellent for those replacing or upgrading!

Review for Zipp Service Course SL Seatpost - 2017 Model

This seatpost is working well. It is easy to adjust and has me in a better position. It fits my bike well since I don't have a lot of exposed seatpost; a seatpost which angles back would not work. I was having some creaking from my saddle when I was using my prior seatpost with no set back but I no longer have any creaking. I don't know if this is from a better positioning of the saddle or if I have it tightened down better, I had greased the rails when I put it on my old seatpost.
