Rack 'em up.
The playing field just got a little stronger with Yakima's fresh take on the classic strap rack, the FullBack 3. This compact and secure trunk rack uses SuperCush ZipStrip™ cradles to safely hold up to 3 bikes, and the rugged external frame-holds are backed with durable padding to protect your car's paint job. To protect against any shady players, SKS locks secure both the rack to your vehicle and your bikes to the rack. Installation is tool-free, using just 4 straps and an interlocking hub that features numbered markings for quickly adjusting the rack to vehicle-specific settings.
Claimed weight is 23 lbs. The FullBack 3 folds down for compact storage and includes a built-in bottle opener for handling post-ride refreshments. Visit the Yakima website for vehicle compatibility information.

Great rack, quality build, easy install and use

I did a lot of homework before I decided to buy this rack. I looked at Thule, Yakima and many others, reading on-line reviews and watching videos of the install process. I even went to a local shop that sells and installs roof racks, trailer-hitch-based racket, etc. I really wanted a roof rack, but I was not willing to spend the $ it would have cost for all of the hardware and the install (holes would have needed to be drilled in the roof of my car). The rack is constructed out of very good materials, holds my bike securely (even on bumpy roads), and is easily removed and re-installed (5 minutes, tops).
This rack is simple to install and use. I have only two very minor complaints. 1) The security cablelocking mechanism is relatively short. I cannot use it unless my bike is on the last (most outboard) of the 3 racks. 2) I lose a fair amount of visibility through the rear windshield. Odds are I could improve that if I changed the angle of the rack a bit.
I also bought the top tube adapter for use with my MTB. It too works as advertised.
One caveat. I have not loaded more than one bike on it. Why? Because my wife and kids don't ride.
