Description Small Knobs — Big Volume
The WTB Ranger SG2 29er Plus MTB Tire is trail ready and bikepacking-approved. A true set-it-and-forget-it plus-tire platform. Ranger's Multidirectional siping provides surefooted traction whether accelerating, braking or cornering, while the amply-spaced lugs clear out quickly, shedding mud in wet conditions.
Lightweight, rounded casing conserves energy and feels quick to respond in wet to dry, hardpack to deep loamy settings. Dual DNA is the perfect mix of efficiency, traction and durability with a centerline tread using a firmer rubber compound for faster rolling and increased durability, while the side knobs are a softer, slower-rebounding rubber that improves control, handling and traction in the corners.
SG2 is a lightweight nylon layer that protects all areas of the tire with an additional level of defense against punctures and pinch flats. Bead-to-bead SG2 also improves sidewall stability and overall tire support without the additional weight of a dual-ply casing.

29 x 3" folding bead clincher tire
Tubeless ready
60 TPI
Dual DNA compound balances centerline efficiency with cornering grip
